Phone photos as the camera battery died when taking photos in the morning, oops!
Friday was jeans for genes day, which I completely forgot, so I wasn't wearing blue denim. Was attending a training course and they hadn't told us what the dress code was so I thought black jeans would be best in case it wasn't supposed to be casual wear. Carried my LV neverfull as there was a bit of material I had to carry around for the course.
Swapped to my red Balenciaga flat clutch in the evening as DH surprised me by planning a dinner and movie date night for us. Was a lovely way to unwind after a crazy work week.
Linking up with Friday's Five, Fashion Friday and Casual Friday today.
Last worn: printed leather jacket, red skull scarf, Marc Jacobs blossom tee, skinny jeans, red suede flats, LV neverfull.
Here's what I wore to go shopping with DH today:
Necklace: sterling silver monogram necklace C/O MyNameNecklace.com.au
Tee: Spectrum basic v-neck tee in grey marl (New purchase)
Jeans: gifted Portmans pink leopard print skinny jeans
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs studded mouse flats in grey
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Mulberry regular size Alexa bag in foggy grey
Grey tee and jeans again! Tried to switch it up a little with printed jeans for a bit of interest. Such a comfortable outfit, perfect for running errands and shopping today. Was warm during the day, so I didn't need a scarf or jacket. Cooper spotted a cat on the other side of the fence, so he wasn't at all interested in the camera, haha.
I purchased a couple of these Spectrum basic tees from The Iconic in their sale a few weeks back, and I'm so glad I did. I really like the relaxed fit and how soft they are. Lately, I have been thinking a lot about my wardrobe and how I need to have pieces that can be mixed and matched. 3 tops and bottoms that can be worn in any way can make 9 outfits, 3 tops and bottoms that can't be paired with any other pieces only gives 3. Having a good selection of basics is part of that. So is paring down my wardrobe to only what I love and wear often, but as I'm not so good at de-cluttering I'm trying to at least be more thoughtful in my purchasing!
Last worn: pink leopard jeans, studded mouse flats, Mulberry foggy grey Alexa. First time I've worn the tee as it's a recent purchase.
