Here's what I wore to go out with baby T:
Sunglasses: Rayban new Wayfarers
Scarf: Stella McCartney heart print scarf
Dress: Atmos&Here navy stripe tee dress
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
We had an unexpected cold and rainy spring day (although nothing like what Sydney has been experiencing!) so I decided to wear long sleeves and accessorise with a scarf. This scarf probably won't get much more wear this year as it's quite warm, and the weather is heating up again. It was good to be able to wear it one last time for Spring. I'm also hoping to get more wear out of this dress this year, but again it's a thicker winter fabric and I'm not sure I'll have many more opportunities to wear it now the seasons are changing.
Had to take baby T for a quick checkup at the doctors, so I wanted something easy and cosy as I'd be baby wearing. I still haven't figured out an easy way to carry the baby bag as I wear the baby carrier, I just have to hold it in my hand and it's not the lightest of bags....but for a short trip out I prefer to baby wear rather than take the stroller.
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers, Stella McCartney scarf, striped tee dress, Converse.
Here's what I wore to visit family and go to the shelter:
Jacket: thrifted Valleygirl pinstripe blazer
Tank: Jeanswest 'Macy' ombre tank in 'very berry'
Jeans: Jeanswest Super Skinny Jeans in Mid Indigo
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bag: Marc By Marc Jacobs Classic Q Fran bag with gold hardware in carob brown
It was a little chilly in the morning so I added the blazer. We left baby T with family while we went out to the animal shelter, so I had the chance to carry a handbag too as I was without the baby bag. I'm so pleased I got to wear this ombre top! I got it for Christmas last year and only had the chance to wear it once before the baby bump got too big for it. The beaded detail is so pretty.
You might have seen my post on instagram about a cute little Guinea Pig that Cooper found (and I rescued from his fluffy jaws!). After asking around the neighbours and putting up signs and leaving letters in mailboxes, no-one stepped up to claim him. We named him Popcorn, but have no idea where he came from.
We adopted Cooper from the Animal Welfare League and I knew that they also re-home Guinea Pigs, so we took Popcorn down to the shelter to find a new home after keeping him a few days. I was a little sad leaving him there, but Cooper didn't appreciate the sudden new addition to the family and I was quite worried he might eat him! They re-homed 89 guinea pigs last year so they will find Popcorn a new home in no time. Cooper is still a little upset by it all and keeps pacing the spot in the laundry where we kept Popcorn. As we stumbled across him in the street, we didn't get a chance to prepare him for the new arrival like we did with baby T.
If you know anyone in the Gold Coast or Brisbane area who might be looking to adopt a little furry family member, check out Popcorn's adoption details at the AWL! :)
Last worn: striped blazer, ombre tank, skinny jeans, Havaianas, Marc by Marc Jacobs Fran bag.
