30 Ways to Wear: Cotton On Pink 'Desert Rose' V-Neck Tee

It's been a while since I did a 30 ways to wear post, so finally sharing an overdue one for this pink Cotton On 'The One' v-neck tee that I got for Christmas a while back. I might not be blogging what I wear each day, but I'm still keeping track of what I wear. And while I'll be blogging less, I still like doing these 30 ways to wear posts. Because it's good to enjoy what we already own and think of new ways to wear it, instead of constantly buying new things all the time.

30 Ways to Wear: Pink V-Neck Tee

Cost Per Wear

I've worn this tee 32 times, which shows it's one of my favourite pink tees. Unfortunately, I can't calculate a true cost per wear with this tee as it was a gift in Christmas 2019. However I loved this tee so much that I bought a few others in the same style but different colours on sale over the years, paying anywhere from $8 to $13.99. So if we assume the highest price pad of $13.99, at 32 wears it would be 44 cents a wear. Just a guess really as I have no idea how much was paid for it.

The only downside with this tee that you may notice in the photos is that the colour faded over the years I owned and loved it - and it did so with the other tees in the same style that I wore. Unfortunately the reason I no longer wear this tee is that the colours have just faded away too much, fading away to white in a patch on the back, as well as turning a lighter pink over the years. I'm pleased I got 32 wears from it, but sad it didn't last longer in my wardrobe as I really really loved it. 6 years isn't bad for an affordable tee, but it's a shame I couldn't get more wear from it. Does work well as an incredibly comfortable pyjama top though!

Pink Tee and Jeans

Jeans and tee will always be a classic outfit combo! I don't have blue jeans, but the neutral white, grey and black jeans I have work well with this pink tee.

Pink Tee and Maxi Skirt

Another frequently worn combination with this tee is a maxi skirt! Printed or plain, it's a nice option for warmer weather where I want to be cool in the heat but also keep my legs covered up.

Pink Tee In Winter Outfits

I like to add a little colour to my outfits in winter and this pink tee is a perfect way to do so! I like wearing it with colourful scarves as well for even more brightness with my winter layers.

Pink Tee with Black

Much like the set above, I find pink really pops against neutral layers. While I'll sometimes add another colour to my outfit too, I really like the way this pink tee brightens up an outfit when worn with all black pieces.

Pink Tee and Leopard Print

I think pink and leopard print is a very underrated combo, and I find it works well with both traditional leopard print pieces as well as different ones like that black and white leopard print cardigan.

Pink Tee With Pink Bags

Sometimes I like to be a little matchy-matchy in my outfits, and if I'm wearing a pink tee, why not pick another piece of pink and wear a pink bag too? While the colours don't match exactly, I like the cohesiveness of having multiple pieces in a colour in my outfits.

Pink and Blue Outfits

Saved the best for last - as you've seen in the other outfits above, pink and blue are worn a lot, it's easily my most worn colour combination and I like wearing a little or even a lot of blue with this pink tee.
