Printed Dresses and Sneakers With Rebecca Minkoff Mini Darren Messenger Bag

While it is officially autumn in Brisbane, some days have still felt very summer like! So I took advantage of the warmer temps to wear some simple printed dresses and sneakers with my little olive Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren messenger bag.

What I wore:

Necklace: handmade silver and gold faux pearl beaded necklace
Dress: thrifted peach and white floral print tiered sundress
ShoesNike Court Royale white and beige sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff olive mini Darren

Why I wore it:

It was such a hot and humid day when I wore this dress - it's a very light and comfortable tiered sundress that I thrifted a while ago and I enjoy it every time I wear it. It was the perfect style for such a warm day. I had the school run and working from home to do, and we took the opportunity to check in on some neighbours we hadn't seen earlier post cyclone too, now that all the roads were clear, and make sure they were doing okay after the damage to their properties.

Because I had a bit of walking around to do I wore these super comfortable Nike Court Royale sneakers. I liked how they matched the white in the background of the dress. The olive Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag doesn't match anything in my outfit, but I liked the contrast of the orange and olive together.

Last worn: metallic faux pearl necklace, palm print tiered sundress, Nike Court Royale sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag.

Other ways to wearpalm print tiered sundress and denim jacket, Nike Court Royale sneakers and shorts, Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag and skirt.

What I wore:

Earrings: Piper recycled metal turquoise tassel earring
DressAll About Eve striped black tee dress
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus Mimco gunmetal twisted bracelet stack
BagRebecca Minkoff olive mini Darren

Why I wore it:

This was a really fun weekend! We had a couple of errands to run to get some Scout stuff for the kids, but we also had a wildlife show to attend which the kids and I loved. It's so fun getting to see them get up close and personal with all the amazing native animals we have around Brisbane!

As it was a hot day I went with this simple striped shift dress, originally from my sisters wardrobe, it's a firm favourite of mine in the warmer months. I added a little colour to it with the tassel earrings and the blue Converse - although not matching shades of blue I liked them both together with the black and white stripes of the dress. The olive Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag was another way to add more colour to the outfit, and with the statement earrings I didn't feel the need to add a necklace to this outfit.

  1. I'm glad you're still able to enjoy some summer weather before the weather fully turns to fall. Glad you were able to wear some beautiful summer dresses while the weather is still good! That thrifted peach and white floral dress is really beautiful. Love those blue Converse shoes as well.
