Shorts: Jeanswest Georgie maternity boyfriend shorts (available in non-maternity also)
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff metallic silver mini MAC (on sale in blue!)
Why I wore it:
Was surprised to find that I hadn't worn this necklace and tank together before - seems like a really obvious choice. I like wearing statement necklaces with this black tank, it's the perfect backdrop for it.Wore this to go to Toddler T's first swimming lesson, and then have lunch with the in-laws.
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarer, black maternity tank, maternity boyfriend shorts, Havaianas, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC.
Other ways to wear: black maternity tank and a magenta bag, maternity boyfriend shorts and a ninja baby tee, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC and a maxi dress.
Maternity tanks under $50:
What I wore:
Sunglasses: Rayban new Wayfarers (on sale!)
Necklace: Australian coin and crest necklaceTank: Jeanswest Sol Maternity jacquard tank (non-maternity version)
Shorts: Jeanswest maternity rolled up shorts
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff metallic silver mini MAC (on sale in black!)
Why I wore it:
I appreciated the simplicity of the tank and denim shorts combo on this day, it was really busy! I didn't even get time to share this outfit on instagram like usual. Had a lot of running around to do. After playgroup in the morning, toddler T had a different gymboree class in the afternoon. It was really fun! He's so used to the same room and teacher each week, so experiencing a different class meant he was even more excited than usual.I was glad I'd worn denim shorts - unlike skirts they are much more practical for running around with a toddler at gymboree.
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers (above), printed maternity tank, Bermuda maternity shorts, Havaianas (above), Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC(above).
Other ways to wear: printed maternity tank in the office, denim shorts and a striped tank, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC and skinny jeans.

Seems like Queensland and Panama are in the summer at the same time. I have to admit, I have been wearing my tank tops too, but only to realise that they are not working that much for me. However I am glad to see that yours are delivering !
ReplyDeleteYep! It's been a long and hot summer here though, haha! Shame about your tank tops, but they aren't the only summer-appropriate item! :)
DeleteHow cute you look in your maternity denim shorts with the simple tanks. I like that sort of aztec-y tank top or singlet how you guys call it. And wow it is still very warm over there. Autumn is coming soon, though. =)
ReplyDeleteI just recently started my very own first linkup yesterday and I would love for you to join with this beautiful outfit. Thank you. The link is below.

Enjoy your weekend! Ada. =)
Yep, autumn is here, although the summer temperatures will be sticking around for a while they predict :(
DeleteYou look so great...all baby! Not much longer. I was pregnant with 3 of 4 during the warm months and it was rough at the end.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard being pregnant in so many heatwaves, but it's worth it in the end :)
DeleteThese shorts/tanks have been such a great maternity purchase for you!

They have! Real wardrobe staples this summer :)
DeleteYep, accessories are definitely very helpful when you're down to a limited wardrobe in the Summer!

Accessories are the best :)
DeleteI thought of you the other day because I got a new Rebecca M. pink clutch! You look adorable and I know you're getting close so I hope you're feeling well and the weather is cooperating!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea! Would love to see the clutch you got! :)
DeleteLooking great! I love that bag. I seen it on your youtube video from your Rebecca Minkoff collection. I'm seriously considering one now! Haha

It is a great bag! Goes with everything! :)
DeleteI've actually done it! I caved the other day and ordered one on sale. It's coming from the US so may take a few weeks to arrive. Excited! Gemma x
DeleteOh yey! You will love it when it arrives! Hope it's a short shipping time for you! :)
DeleteThanks! They said 9-14 days so not too long. Counting down the days LOL x
DeleteCute outfits! How are the swimming lessons going? I've been wanting to take my stepdaughter to them, even though she's already 8. She loves being in the water, but doesn't know how to properly swim.

The lessons are going well! Toddler T loves them, such a water baby! :) I'd highly recommend them. With so many pools and beaches around here, it's safest to start as soon as possible.
DeleteLooks like baby has dropped in that second photo! Very soon! For it being difficult to dress in the third trimester, you're killing it! You always do!
ReplyDeleteI definitely feel like baby's dropped! Not engaged yet though, sometimes is sometimes isn't. Got a couple weeks left so there's time.
DeleteSometimes it's hard to add some layers in the warmest months, right? Still, you look gorgeous and radiant as usual, even in black! The necklace goes perfectly with that black tank top, as you said. And I completely agree that nothing beats the comfort of shorts during summer. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend ahead, dear!

Yes shorts are a summer essential - pregnant or not! :)
DeleteThose denim shorts are so nice! I think if I go on holiday again I might get some.

Definitely! Great for beating the heat :)
DeleteI love the black tank with the cut offs, it looks great with your jewellery. For some reason, I always thought you were in Melbourne. Friends of ours just moved to Queensland, it seems like a nice place.
ReplyDeleteFlower Design
No our weather is a little more predictable than Melbourne! :) Queensland is lovely, but I may be a little biased! ;)
DeleteI think someone might have met his photo bombing match in Toddler T muscling in on the second picture! You're looking fabulous, as usual! Stay cool up there!
ReplyDeleteHaha yep it's tricky trying to get a photo with the two of them running around like that! Imagine 3....
DeleteI would love to be in shorts right now.....

You're welcome to have some of our summer heat, it's hung around long enough, haha!
Deleteyou look so great !! i love baby bump photo hehehe i hope you and you're baby always healthy

Love the structured back part of the black tank. Those kind of details are my kryptonite (besides graphic tees and funky socks). Kind of glad I had my third trimester in winter, although on the downside, it was really hard to find shoes to wear. In the end, I've worn the same pair of sneakers all the time, the poor things...
ReplyDeleteAlex - Funky Jungle
Yep I'm glad to be on maternity leave now so that I can skip shoes all together, they were all getting too tight!
DeleteSuper cute looks! I really like the first look!
ReplyDeleteARedLip&Love
Honestly, no matter the (beautiful) belly, you still look so elegant. And you do so in every look which is much more magnific and I'm quite jealous. Hopefully I'll look that good in the future. You look stunning. I have to say my favourite has to be the first look though. I love the contrast of dark colour items with your skin!
ReplyDeleteElla Pinto xx
I still say you're amazing for being so stylish in your third trimester! At that point you're allowed to get away with anything! Those maternity tanks look so comfy and love the one with the striped pattern. It must be so fun for your toddler to nave a new class experience too! Thanks for sharing with us :)

Accessories can make a big difference, even a simple outfit can turn to something catchy. How was toddler T's first swimming class? Does he like it?
ReplyDeleteEla BellaWorld
He was a little unsure at first but we are in the pool a lot at home so he took to it quite well.
DeleteWhat an awesome combo - the blue tank top and the necklace. Looking great!

I think at this stage of the pregnancy, comfort outweighs everything. I admire your dedication to your blog :) I really have been enjoying watching you grow and keeping up with cute outfits daily <3
ReplyDeleteIt's easier blogging in pregnancy than blogging with a newborn for sure! :P
DeleteI love the necklace you're wearing in #1! What a great piece of jewellery. Man, I'm always so jealous when I see you wearing summer clothes. I'n currently in the depths of winter!

I'm looking forward to the heat leaving us though, haha! It's sticking around into Autumn!
DeleteReally great looks, you look so adorable with that bump x
ReplyDeleteFlorals&Smiles
Pretty outfits! Love how your styled them. When I was pregnant, I used necklaces to dress up tees alot.

Accessories are great, especially while pregnant! :)
DeleteYou look really great during the pregnancy! I think the choices of clothes when pregnant can be a bit limited, but you styled them so well!
ReplyDeleteI like your roll up shorts :) Both of the tops look great and I like how you've styled them with the necklaces

Nothing better then a singlet and shorts in this weather. Those Jeans West tanks are great!
ReplyDeleteIs it still hot over at yours? You are transitioning into autumn now, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I am totally rocking a capsule wardrobe at the moment as well. But i am slowly getting annoyed with it, especially because I know that it will take some time after delivery until I can wear my regular clothes again.
Linda, Libra, Loca: Beauty, Baby and Backpacking
Yep, autumn now, although they say the summer temperatures might hang around this month, ugh. haha.
DeleteYes clothes get really boring near the end! I'll be glad to get back to my normal wardrobe!
So jealous of the sunshine and warm temperatures your end! Loving both of these outfits, they make me think of summer. :) They both seem very practical, which is perfect as it sounds like you've had a busy couple of days! <3 The Rebecca Minkoff handbag is absolutely stunning, it's so stylish yet casual enough for everyday wear! Hope you're well, hun. x Kisses! x x x

those maternity tops go so well with denim shorts. I especially like the one with the vibrant print...but the plain black one is also great, it is a lovely background for that charming necklace. Both outfits are lovely and you look picture perfect.
ReplyDeleteReally love your Rebecca Minkoff bag! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteRaindrops of Sapphire
Oh wow! I love the Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag, it's the perfect size and I love how it is metallic too, really adds something to an outfit!
ReplyDeleteMusings & More
Loving your photobombing extras! Won't be long until you've got three coming at you!!
ReplyDeletehaha I know, I can't imagine how much I'll need to edit those shots - so hard cropping this one right to keep toddler T out of the frame!
DeleteLooks good! I also love the necklace in your first photo.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.averysweetblog.com/
I love the fun print of that tank in your second look! I hope your little one had fun at swim lessons! That's something I hope to get my son started with, maybe this summer.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great thing for them! We're lucky to be able to do it year round here so he should pick it up quickly :)
DeleteLove that sleek bag with both outfits! The necklace in your first outfit really takes it to the next level!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind comments :)
