Striped Dress, MbMJ Studded Mouse Flats, Featured

Counting down the days to the long weekend! Had a long but relaxed meeting this afternoon so dressed for comfort.

Here's what I wore today:

Dress: French Connection Melanie striped sleeveless dress
Cardi: Jeanswest blue waterfall cardi. Used this to cover up in the office.
Necklace: Lovisa blue leaf long necklace
Bracelets: the usual plus a trio of labradorite bracelets from Indigo Rose Design
Bag: Marco Tagliaferri first generation birk bag in navy
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs studded mouse flats in grey from Shopbop (New purchase)

Last time I wore this dress I wore it with a belt, I think I prefer it with the belt. Will remember for next time.

Closeup of accessories:

Closeup of the adorable yet tough flats!

The only downside is that when wearing them with bare legs you need to be careful when you cross your legs! The studs have quite a spike.

I've just now seen them in stock at shopbop in pink, wish I had waited and got them instead of the grey. I'm telling myself grey will be more practical. But the pink is just so cute! 2 pairs of mice flats is enough right?

Also, I was featured over at the Fashionoclast again today - for my colour blocking outfit I wore for the Frivolous Friday challenge. You can check it out here :)

  1. Loving the studded flats! I have them in patent black without the studs, but these are way cooler! :D

  5. I like you the combination of blue stripe dress and navy blue cardigans. But I'm falling in love with the blue leaf necklace. Does Lovisa have an online store?
