Spring Scarves! Chambray Shift Dress, Grey Tank and Colour Block Maxi Skirt

Two spring outfits with scarves! I'm trying to stretch as much wear out of my scarves as possible before the summer heat sets in. They are really practical accessories for life with baby T!

Here's what I wore to spend the day in the city:
Red spring scarf outfit grey tank maxi skirt Alexander McQueen skull
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
ScarfAlexander McQueen red skull-print modal and cashmere-blend scarf
Tank: gifted Target grey marle tank top
SkirtAsos colour block maxi skirt in red (on sale!)
Shoes: Wittner 'Columbia' cross strap sandals in tan

Headed into Brisbane city for the afternoon, to have a look at some of the G20 displays and artwork that was set up. There are all kinds of fun events in the evening, but it's a bit late for baby T to be out, so we just enjoyed the things we can do in the daytime.

Also took baby T into the office to introduce him to all of my colleagues and catch up on how things are going at work. I've been away almost 6 months now, and there have been so many changes in my absence! Going to be interesting seeing how many more changes come along before I return to work next year. So thankful for the generous maternity leave we get here in Australia.

This tank top is new - one my mum bought for me on a previous shopping trip. I wanted to add a bit of interest to the plain tank, but couldn't decide on a necklace. I thought the scarf was nice, and it wasn't too warm for it. I need to try still get some wear out of my scarves this spring, we will see if the weather cooperates! Thought about adding a handbag, but decided just to carry everything in the baby bag for simplicity.

Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers, skull scarf, colour block maxi skirt, Wittner sandals. First time I've worn the tank.

Here's what I wore to go to an appointment:
Paisley print Snood Chambray Shift Dress Mulberry Bayswater Outfit
ScarfSeed Heritage Paisley print snood (on sale!)
DressEzra chambray shift dress
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
BagMulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather

A little bit of a dull, drizzly start to the day, so took the chance to wear one of my thicker winter scarves. I ended up taking it off when the afternoon heat hit though. Probably not going to be able to wear it until Autumn comes around next year now.

Had an early morning appointment, so dropped baby T off at his grandparents and took my Mulberry Bayswater to hold all the paperwork and stuff I needed. No time to do my hair, so it's scraped up into a messy bun. It is becoming my hairstyle of choice!

I was going to wear my little tan flats with this (like I did last time I wore this bag), but decided on the gold ones instead. I quite like it in the photo, but while I was wearing it I did wish I'd gone with the tan flats!

Last wornpaisley print snood, chambray shift dress, metallic mouse flats, Mulberry Bayswater bag.

Spring Dresses and Converse Chucks

Wearing dresses and Converse again. I am terribly predictable lately ;) I am trying to wear more of what I own, but there are a few favourite pieces and combinations I just can't help repeating over and over.

Here's what I wore to have lunch with my mum:
Atmos&Here Willow Tee Dress Chucks Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
DressAtmos & Here Willow printed tee dress
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
BagLouis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull

Yes, I'm wearing that tee dress again. I love it! Wore it out to have lunch with my mum and baby T. Picked the converse Chucks to keep it casual, and a nice big bag to carry everything in. I've worn the dress with boots before every time I've worn it, but it looks great with the Converse too I think.

Safe to say that this dress is my favourite spring piece - I've worn it once a week since I got it! I'd wear it more often, but with baby I only manage to get around to ironing about once a week. I really do wear it as soon as it's washed and ironed! I hope you don't get bored seeing it pop up on the blog so often.

Last worn: Ray Banfloral print tee dress, Converse, Louis Vuitton Neverfull.

Here's what I wore to go shopping with my sister:
Asos grey colour block skater dress belted Converse Chucks
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
DressAsos grey skater dress (on sale!)
BeltAsos skinny pale yellow belt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black

I had to run a quick errand in the morning, so was rushing around getting baby T and myself ready. Went for a dress again for simplicity - and decided to try belt it this time so I'd be at least a little different from the last time I wore the dress and Chucks together. Wasn't sure about the belt through the day though, I think I prefer the dress without a belt. Ended up getting a call from my sister who had the day off, so we arranged to catch up a little later and go shopping. Meant I had a nice leisurely morning and could put the errand off till later.

Every time I pass this spot with the pretty yellow flowers all over the ground I think I should try get a blog photo there. It reminds me of all the lovely autumn yellow and orange leaf pictures the northern hemisphere bloggers are sharing. Since I had more time in the morning than expected, I decided to take the tripod along with the stroller when I walked Cooper. Didn't quite turn out as nicely as I wanted - it's a lot to juggle, a tripod, a dog and a baby in a stroller! But it's nice to try get a different spot for photos. Even if I'm not changing up my outfits, I can change the spots I stand in when I get the photos, right? haha.
