Nice simple outfit for a Saturday. It was a little cooler in the morning, so I wore this new Gucci scarf I picked up at the Reebonz Brisbane sale on Friday. It's so soft! Bought a Christmas present for my sister, and decided to treat myself to this scarf too :)

This is such a comfy tee, was great for a relaxing Sunday. Did think I should have a break from the jeans and tee outfits of the past few days, but the weather was a little odd in the morning so gave up on my idea of wearing a dress. Did a closet count though, and I actually own 50 dresses!!! WAY too many. Scared to count the rest of the items in my wardrobe, but have to do something to trim it all down.


Last worn: burgundy oversized tee, apricot skinny jeans, gold Asos sandals, Chloe Paddington bag.

Kept everything fairly neutral after my bright monochrome orange outfit on Wednesday! Wearing the last of my new purchases from my DFO Spring accessories shopping trip on the weekend, this cute belt. A couple of times I've worn this skirt people have suggested I add a belt, so when I saw this belt in Forever New my skirt popped to mind right away! Really liked the little bit of colour the belt added, brought out some of the blue in the skirt print.

I purchased this top a year ago and this is only the third time it's been worn, that's a really bad rate for such a pretty top! I definitely need to wear it more often. The top and blazer have been paired together before and I wasn't too happy with the outfit, but this time around I think it looks better with the top partially tucked in. What do you think?

Purple Cardi, Grey Shelter Dog Tee, Jeans, Boots, Chloe Paddington | Aztec Print Dress, Sandals, Balenciaga Envelope Clutch

It was a little chilly near the end of the day so I wore a purple cardi over my jeans and tee outfit. Of course it covers up the print on the tee, haha. It says "a shelter dog changed my life...". Had a really nice evening catching up with friends and playing poker. Cooper even 'played'.

Had a really nice day today - went to church with the family (where my sister kindly took a blog photo) and then had lunch and a day out with my mum and sister. Came home to work at Church Online in the evening. Had planned to wear jeans but my sister convinced me otherwise, and we both ended up wearing a dress and leggings. Was quite warm in the sun after church, so I was glad I'd chosen the dress!

Last day of my training course - has been a busy week balancing the class and work, but a good one as I learnt so much on the course! Completely exhausted though! Nice casual, comfortable clothes to finish the week. I really liked the blue and purple together in this outfit.

One of my colleagues at work commented I looked very "conservative and English, but in a good way" today! haha.

I wanted to wear this top tucked in but rather liked the look of it over the top so left it untucked, what do you think? I don't think I would wear all of these items together again - seemed a little too much brown.


The trench was last worn here, scarf here, and the bag and top were previously worn together here. This is the first wearing of the shoes and pants on the blog.

Happy Lunar New Year!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, and if you celebrated Chinese New Year I hope it was fun. We had a little celebration at our team meeting this morning. It was nice, and lots of yummy food!

The afternoon brought lots of rain but I managed to pop outside to get a picture when it let up for a minute.

Here's what I wore today: red, gold and brown.

Dress: Asos Tulip Skirt dress in red (My friend complimented me on this dress today and then before I could say anything asked "Asos?" My darling K you know me too well!)
