Here's what I wore to visit a friend:
Scarf: Alexander McQueen red skull-print modal and cashmere-blend scarf
Dress: Asos grey skater dress (on sale!)
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs suede flats in red
Nice and simple outfit. Last time I wore this dress I added a belt and I wasn't too keen on it, so I went without a belt this time. Popped out to visit a friend with baby T. I try to schedule most things so that he's had a feed at home and is either napping or due for a nap when we are out somewhere, makes it a little easier as I'm less likely to have a cranky baby. Babies are unpredictable though, and he didn't fall asleep in the car like I expected him too. We walked around a little bit, and rocked the stroller back and forth until he finally fell asleep.
Added a scarf to the dress as it was a little cooler with the recent rain. Not sure how much more longer I'll be able to wear my scarves for as summer is definitely here now, but I'm trying to take advantage of the cooler days to wear them as much as possible. They are a helpful extra layer to have with a messy baby.
Last worn: skull scarf, grey skater dress, red suede flats.
Here's what I wore to go visit Santa:
Necklace: custom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
Dress: Jeanswest 'Chelsea' printed dress (on sale!)
Belt: Asos skinny pale pink belt
Shoes: Balenciaga studded sandals in sorbet RGGH
Took the two boys (Cooper and baby T) to go visit Santa! I knew we would be in a rush to get out the door on time, so I picked another simple outfit - blue dress and pink accessories. I like the combination of blue and pink together. We managed to get to the appointment on time, although I did forget my camera so took a quick outfit photo with my phone instead. Didn't want to waste the chance to get a bit of a different background for my OOTD picture ;)
It was much easier picking what I was going to wear than picking baby T's outfit. Being his first Christmas we have gone a little overboard buying him Christmas outfits....as a result I've spent much more time than any sane person probably would drawing up lists of what Christmas events we are going to and what outfits would be best for him to wear to each! Cooper was a lot simpler. Despite having a little collection of cute Christmas antlers to wear, meeting Santa is scary enough for him that we don't add to it by dressing him up any more. As much as I would love to! He actually did really well with Santa this year, not as scared as previous years. We've already turned our family photo into this year's Christmas cards!
Last worn: Jeanswest printed dress, pink belt, studded Balenciaga sandals.

The bright orange scarf is gorgeous! Sounds like baby T has quite a Christmas wardrobe, lol. The dress is a great choice as well. Enjoy your week! xx/Madison

How can you not go overboard in buying him gifts! It's baby's first Christmas! I think every mumma goes a little nuts. I love the print on your second dress, so resort and that grey dress in the first outfit looks amazing paired with red accents.

It's true, every baby is a little spoiled! Too much fun buying cute baby things! :)
DeleteBoth great outfits - I love the ease of dresses! Ha, I can just imagine poor Cooper with Santa!
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with a dress and Marc Jacobs flats! Love your collection. How adorable, you took big brother Cooper to see Santa too.
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits look so relaxed yet very chic with coordinated colors and accents. It is crazy how much I can related to what you are saying about baby T. You can't help it -you just love them so much.
ReplyDeleteit's true - you spoil a baby with so much of everything as they are just so adorable! Material and non material things, they have it all! :)

I think maybe you have toned down on accessorising as the baby may pull on them ?
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, you look put together in both outfits.
I have been accessorising less because of baby! I was worried he'd get hurt on them, now I'm worried about him pulling on them....he's starting to understand what 'no' means though, so I'm trying to work a few more accessories back in! :)
DeleteGorgeous dresses but the second printed one is my fav!! Love your AM scarf collection..to die for!
