Scarf: Alexander McQueen pink pashmina in skull and floral print
Top: Living Doll stripe 3/4 sleeve top
Jeans: Jeanswest maternity super skinny jeans in antique blue
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual plus enamel coated Marc By Marc Jacobs Katie bracelet
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Swing bag in canary yellow (new purchase)
Spent Wednesday running errands and picking up a few last minute things for my hospital bag, so wore a nice casual jeans outfit. After all of the grey I've been wearing the past few days, decided to wear some colour with bright accessories. Thought that the pink scarf was a nice pairing with my yellow Rebecca Minkoff bag, because of the yellow skulls. After my ebay wardrobe clear out, I treated myself to this bag. I've had it a while, but am just getting round to wearing it now as I wanted to protect the leather before I wore it with it being such a light colour.
Last worn: pink Alexander McQueen skull scarf, striped top, Jeanswest maternity skinny jeans, Havaianas. First time I've worn the bag as it's a recent purchase.
Here's what I wore today:
Jacket: Bubblegum denim jacket
Necklace: vintage gold initial necklace layered with Juicy Couture bonsai charm on a gold chain
Dress: Jeanswest 'Chantelle' crochet detail blue printed maxi dress
Shoes: Asos metallic Freestyle leather sandals
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Swing bag in canary yellow
Had a quieter day today after running around a lot on Wednesday. Had an acupuncture appointment in the morning, which was quite relaxing. Went almost completely monochrome by wearing this gorgeous blue printed maxi dress with my denim jacket. Although the jacket covers up the beautiful lace detail on the back of the dress, it was a bit chilly so I needed a cover-up. I thought it looked okay with the yellow bag and gold sandals to break up the blue. Although I did think about wearing a blue bag and shoes for a moment! :)
Considered stopping by the shops for a browse again on my way home, but decided against it as I have a day out planned tomorrow and wanted to rest today. I think as it gets closer and closer to baby's due date, I'll be reducing my trips to the stores! I often do a lot of online shopping anyway, my favourite thing is that you can usually find a coupon code to make shopping even cheaper. I've recently been introduced to a new site, CupoNation that does all of the hard work for you and lists all the fashion coupons in one place.
Last worn: denim jacket, blue printed maxi dress, Asos leather sandals, Rebecca Minkoff Swing bag (see above).

Oh, you look lovely in the blue maxi. I can't see the sandals very well but I think I spy a bit of gold hardware and am liking the clogs. You are so active and on your feet despite your pregnancy; I greatly admire it. I can't imagine the ups and downs you must have! CupoNation is a great find; this is the one reason I love online shopping too. The fact that you can't try the clothes on really does bother me because I never know what size will fit, but the promo codes are a definite bonus that you can't get when you're out and about! Looking beautiful as always, Mica. Rosemary x

I'm trying to stay active and get out and about each day, my OB says staying active will help labour and recovery :)
DeleteI find buying from stores with good return policies is best when ordering online, as you're right it can be tricky without trying things on first!
I love your pink, yellow, and stripes together, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou are still rocking those skinny jeans! Love the new bag. Rebecca Minkoff is my favorite handbag designer. I've really been wanting one. Glad you got some things checked off your list and got to relax during acupuncture. I can't imagine it's relaxing, but I have never had it done. I'm scared! ;)

Maternity skinny jeans are a great invention! :)
DeleteEnjoying your maternity leave! I think you picked a great pick me up cutie RM bag. I once owned a studded /quilted swing bag too in a pearlised grey colour but the chain kind of dig into my shoulder so I sold it. Funny thing with me is that I also own a large Affair with the chain straps and even it is a much bigger bag the red colour and the rg hw make me love it too much to be parted with it ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha Mica, it's all of your beautiful maxi skirts shots that inspired to me to wear that more often this season (ok, no I am not pregnant but who can say no to elastic waist band, right? haha)
ReplyDeletehaha yes an elastic waistband is always appreciated - during or not during pregnancy! :) Your maxi skirt is a beauty :)
DeleteLove that shade of yellow! It's the perfect pop of colour to stand out but still go with everything! Looking lovely.
