Top: Asos crochet shell top in cream
Dress: Glassons black cotton skater dress
Belt: Kmart thin black glitter belt
Shoes: NineWest Lovelyou studded flats in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Balenciaga Coquelicot Velo
Last time I wore this jumper layered over a dress I wasn't too sure about it. When I tried it this time around, I followed the advice left in the comments and belted it. I really liked this look! Kept me warm with the rain and sudden cool weather brought in by the storms.
Linking up with Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins, Style Sessions, What I wore Wednesday, Friday's Fancies today.
Last worn: Asos crochet jumper, Glassons skater dress, glitter belt, studded flats, Balenciaga velo.
Here's what I wore to work today:
Scarf: Marc by Marc Jacobs Croc-print scarf
Dress: ValleyGirl navy plaid peplum dress
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs two tone flats blush and black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Hillier Hobo in blush pink with silver hardware
I usually pick my outfits out the night before as I have no time in the morning. On Tuesday night, when the storm started to hit our power went out. As it was a little risky trying to find things in my wardrobe by candlelight and not set anything on fire, I just went with a simple printed dress and pink accessories. Added the scarf in the morning for a bit of print mixing interest and to keep me warm as it was still a little chilly.
After a very sleepless night (as Cooper is scared of storms) I skipped doing my hair and makeup and just wore BB cream and left my hair wavy. Luckily, I didn't have any face to face meetings to worry about today, so it was mostly unnoticed.
Last worn: MbMJ printed scarf, plaid dress, pink two tone flats, Marc by Marc Jacobs Hillier hobo.
Both outfits are SO cute! :) I love the first one! It looks great belted! :) Love!!

Storms? That doesn't sound to good! I hope it's not too bad. We've been having horrible weather as well. I absolutely LOVE the first outfit. It's so classy and even has a bit of a retro touch to it. The cardigan definitely looks best with the belt over it ^^ xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Nikki. Sorry to hear about your bad weather! We usually have pretty crazy summer storms, just odd for them to start so early!
DeleteYou are lovely! Both outfits are so beautiful! I love black and white with a pop of red.
