Jacket: Asos Black by Markus Lupfer printed leather jacket
Scarf: Alexander McQueen pink pashmina in skull and floral print
Necklace: gift from DH
Top: Asos contrast trim front ruffle blouse
Pants: Asos black skinny pants in cotton twill
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs patent mouse flats in black and white
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Balenciaga part time in black 2010 with GSH
Gave up trying to handle the cold and just wore pants to work Thursday, haha! Didn't realise how Asos-centric this outfit was until I wrote the post... Picked this top to wear as it was a little more formal to balance out the comfy pants for the office, and because I haven't worn it in a while.
Added the pink scarf to keep me warm and to add a bit of colour to what I was wearing. Have been a little repetitive lately with pulling this jacket, but it's right at the front of my wardrobe after I put it away so it's the first one I reach for!
Linking up with Friday's Fancies, Friday's Fab Favourites, Casual Friday Linkup, Fashion and Faith, Friday's Five, Trend Spin Linkup today.
Last worn: Markus Lupfer leather jacket, pink scarf, ruffle detail top, black pants, mouse flats, Balenciaga part time bag.
Here's what I wore to work for Casual Friday today:
Jacket: Wittner Santa Fe cobalt blue leather jacket
Scarf: Alexander McQueen red skull-print modal and cashmere-blend scarf
Necklace: sterling silver monogram necklace C/O MyNameNecklace.com.au
Top: Topshop grey knitted scoop neck top
Jeans: Sass and Bide "Straight up" jeans
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs suede flats in red
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Balenciaga Coquelicot Velo (2011 RH)
A different jacket at last! Thought I would try red with this blue jacket for a change :) Simple casual Friday outfit, again more for warmth than anything. Was too cold to even realise how bad the lighting was this morning, not one of my better pictures with a super sunshine-y neck. I loved the outfit though.
Kept my scarf on in the office as the red felt nice and cheerful against the grey. Also had some flowers on my desk as it was Daffodil Day today. Was lovely smelling them through the day.
Last worn: blue leather jacket, red skull scarf, Topshop grey knit, skinny jeans, red suede flats, Balenciaga Velo.
great look, love your red bag!

The scarf's are beautiful! Love how you have let them play and be central part. And I have a jacket almost identical to the blue-black asos one, need to pair it with jeans. Love the outfits..
ReplyDeleteThat jacket goes so well with jeans too! :)
DeleteOMG!OMG! OMG! The red Velo is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a very striking bag :)
DeleteHi, thank you for stopping by my blog. I give up wearing dresses/skirts at below 15˚C (60˚F) and start wearing pants. I love the daffodils. They are a sign that it's getting warmer. Your bags are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is nice to see some signs of spring even if it does not feel very spring-like!
DeleteYou look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI especially love that red bag!

The more I see your jacket the more I think I need a motorcycle jacket. :)
ReplyDeleteI figure that a good leather jacket (or two!) is a winter essential :)
DeleteMica you look really good with cobalt blue and red! This is one of my fav combo! Certainly brighten up the whole look esp during the grey winter months! Your velo looks incredibly soft and lovely! Hope you guys and Mr Cooper a great weekend ahead :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, hope you are having a great weekend too! :) The velo has broken in so nicely :)
DeleteDaffodils are some of my favorite flowers! They always bloom around my birthday ^^ Again, these are two lovely outfits. Your blue suede jacket is a very lovely piece, and I love that you paired it with a darker tone of red to balance the colors out. xo
