I have been wanting to try pink and blue together for a while after seeing so many bloggers wearing it well - my new magenta bag gave me the perfect excuse to try. Was nice wearing something so bright today, although I kept the rest of my accessories simple.

Not a good combo

This outfit seemed like a good idea in my head last night, but I put it on this morning and realised it wasn't quite right, with not a lot of time to fix it. Tried to fix it with a belt but changed my mind at the last minute. Felt uncomfortable all day at work.

Won't be wearing this top and skirt together again. The beading on the top made it sit awkwardly at the front and the zip down the back of the top meant it kept riding up. It was very difficult to keep in place as you can see by the wrinkles, think I should have kept the belt ;)

Fern Print Dress, Black Boots, Pink and Blue Accessories

Was a rainy day today. DH and I ended up having takeout for dinner after I bought something for dinner at lunch time but accidentally left it in the fridge at work! Oops!

Blue! with 4 shades of pink

Rather amused by my attempts to coordinate my outfit today - I ended up with 4 different shades of pink! Bag, shoes, nails and bracelet! Do I get points for having them in the same colour family at least? hehe!

Remix Fridays: Purple Cardi and Featured by Reebonz!

Was cold and rainy today, so the boots made an appearance again. I can see that these will be a cold weather staple :)

I really like the Remix Friday challenge that Ash has set each week. This week was difficult as it was so cold I just dressed for warmth this morning. It was hard to think of 3 different looks for the cardi, so this week I thought up 3 ways to wear it instead. I'll need to try harder next week, and come up with different looks and outfits like I did last week.

Added a belt as a second way to wear it, as the cardi tends to flutter about as I walk. The belt would keep in in place.  For the third way to wear it I could wear it as a sweater on it's own, again with the belt keeping it closed.

You might recognise the "What fits inside" video featured in the email, it's the video of my Reebonz vintage Chanel bag! I'm extremely flattered Reebonz thought my video good enough to use in their email, after they used it on their facebook pages in March.

I met Zoe, the store owner of Thrifty Kitten at the vintage market and she gave me some tips for styling the dress - she suggested a red belt and heels. I just need the red heels now! I think it worked well with the black wedges though, what do you think?

Belts and Buckles, Virtual Fashion Week party

Nice relaxing Saturday with DH and Cooper. I wore my bling belt as part of the Frivolous Friday: Belts and Buckles challenge at the Fashionoclast

Wore some blingy accessories to match the belt buckle. It's basically a standard belt buckle covered in diamantes. It was my favourite belt for a few years.
