Travelling for Work: Print Top, Pencil Skirt | Working From Home: Jeans and a Tee, RM MAM

Here's what I wore for an extremely long day on Tuesday:

Skirt: Asos black tailored tab front pencil skirt (new purchase)
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs Logo Plaque flats in camel
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull


Sorry for the poor quality photos - these were taken as I waited on the taxi around 5am Tuesday morning! Had to fly to another state for an all-day meeting which required being up before sunrise and getting home just a little before midnight. A really long day. Thank you for sharing some tips for flying with a cold - they were so helpful. I drank lots of water and brought a scarf too to try keep me cosy on the plane.

I wanted to look professional but stay warm, so I picked this lovely jacket, fun printed top (to take direction away from my tired face!) and a black pencil skirt. It was a lovely outfit idea, but mid-flight turbulence and a banana peel meant my skirt didn't end up as pristine as it started...hurriedly splashing it with water helped a little at least. Although still too sick with the cold to smell properly, I'm sure my colleague was only joking when he said I smelt like banana :P

After Tuesday's long day, a sleep in was required so I worked from home today. Was good to catch up on everything I'd missed from being out of the office yesterday. 

Nice casual and comfortable outfit, good for working from home and taking a relaxing stroll to the post office to pick up a wonderful parcel from my church! A couple of months ago, Cooper won the "At the Movies" video competition by re-enacting this famous clip....

 And this is the great prize pack we won! Cooper liked it too :)

A lazy Sunday was just what I needed. Spent the morning in my PJs feeling sorry for myself with the cold. Thought I'd spare you the PJ pictures and just show you what I wore when I eventually ventured outside in the afternoon to get some air. Wanted to be comfortable so an airy skirt and loose top were perfect to battle the heat. Wearing the same bag as yesterday as I didn't feel like switching over all of the contents :)

Had to go back to the office today, so wore a simple dress to try look more pulled together than I felt, haha. tried to add a bit of cheer with the yellow belt. The pink one probably would have looked better though I think.
Was maybe a little optimistic with going back to work so soon, but I had to get a few things cleared up before a big meeting out of state tomorrow. Does anyone have any survival tips for flying with a cold?
