As it is getting cooler I took the opportunity to wear boots today. I'm still undecided if I should keep these boots or not - I'm hoping they will get worn more in the cooler months to justify keeping them. They are very comfortable, but I don't wear them as much as I wear my black boots.

Simple casual outfit to work from home today - and wearing another one of my band tees. Not the best light for taking photos but I left it pretty late to get a shot.

The Sate of Origin final match is on tonight - so of course I had to wear maroon to show my support for Queensland. Since the dress has a polka dot star print, I thought it would be fun to wear my star print scarf with it too!
I'm not too sure about these boots with the outfit though. Do you think I should have gone for black boots instead? Wanted to keep my feet warm but comfortable, and I like the low chunky heel the pistol boots have so I picked these over my black boots. What do you think? Would you change the boots?

I thought up this outfit last night, but with this skinny belt instead. When I tried it on I thought a thicker belt would be better, but reviewing the pictures afterwards I'm not so sure. I might not try this combo again, not too impressed with the photos. The wind catching the skirt didn't help :P What do you think of the outfit?
