Was remembrance day today, although I unfortunately failed to remember during my morning meeting and worried I may have talked through the moment of silence.....

This dress is another of my "not worn in a while so should try to wear again" items. Been 8 months since I last wore this dress! I remember wearing it every couple of weeks when I first got it. I could wear heels a lot more often then though. Paired it with tights as the stormy rainy weather was supposed to continue, although it seemed to hold off until the evening.

Thought that the purple scarf would add a nice touch of colour, and I really like wearing this as a belt :)

I have been trying not to splurge on clothes or accessories for myself lately and wear what I already own, but caved in when I saw these cute mouse flats on sale! Knew they would be a great neutral for summer and the warmer months, and I really miss my old gold flats after I wore them to pieces. Plus you can never have too many mouse flats! :) thought about it for a day before I purchased them, which gave me time to think about it and also meant that the package arrived at my desk on Monday morning. Nice way to start the week and meant I could wear them today.
