Blue and Black: Printed Leather Jacket, Balenciaga Magenta Work, Jacquard Pencil Skirt | Spotty Dress, Maroon Scarf, Part Time Bag

Linking up with "what I wore to work" at Mix and Match Fashion.

Here's what I wore to work on Tuesday:

Away From the Blue Balenciaga magenta work worn on arm

Away From The Blue Australian Daily style blogger OOTD navy pencil skirt pink bag and belt

JacketAsos Black by Markus Lupfer printed leather jacket
Top: Glassons plain black long sleeve top (new purchase)
BeltAsos Metal Keeper Super Skinny Belt in pink
SkirtWarehouse blue jacquard pencil skirt
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs patent mouse flats in black and white
Bracelets: the usual
BagBalenciaga RH work in 2005 Magenta

Please excuse my hair! I washed and plaited it the night before, intending to wake up with subtle waves. Instead, woke up with wet hair and no time to dry it before I went to work. It did dry into some nice waves later in the morning, but it is still really damp and dull in the photos!
Wearing my last new piece from my Glassons order back in mid-May. Glassons have a sale on now too, if you are looking for some affordable basics. Thought I would try something a little different today, and belted the top over the skirt instead of tucking it into the skirt. I think it worked well, and the belt was a nice pop of colour.

Last worn: printed leather jacket, pink belt, pencil skirt, mouse flats, Balenciaga magenta work. First time I've worn the top as it is a recent purchase.

Had to work a bit of maroon into my outfit today with the State of Origin match tonight! This scarf was perfect. Although I don't watch footy, lots of people at work are quite into the game and you see people walking around wearing the shirts or maroon items. While it is unofficial casual day as everyone is wearing team shirts, I had to present at a meeting so wore a printed dress.

Last worn: warehouse blazer, French Connection dress, Marc Jacobs flats, Balenciaga part time. First time I've worn the scarf on the blog, it was a lovely gift from a friend.

  1. I always find basic pieces at Glasson! I remember I used to walk by the store and just stare at the "outrageous" window display haha! Then it became "basic pieces" for me! Funny how our taste changes :d

  18. So I just learnt that Origins are over three matches, not just ONE! I'm such a sport noob, seriously :) Love that printed Markus Lupfer too, was stalking that on ASOS but finally decided I have too many black jackets!
