Birthday Dinner, Asos Sale Steals and 10% off Code

Errands this morning and then another birthday dinner this evening - this time for my father in law. Not impressed with the service from Whirlpool though, our oven is still broken and we can't find out when it will be fixed.

Here's what I wore:
Top: pink swing vest from Asos
Necklace: made by a talented friend
Bracelets: the usual
Jeans: Sass & Bide
Shoes: Nine West glitter 'Facinate' flats (first seen here)
Bag: Balenciaga 2010 Part Time GSH (first seen here)

You might notice in the outfit pic above that my bracelet is undone! I tend to play with my Hermes clic clac through the day - you just swivel the "H" to open and close it - I fidget around with it without thinking and I'd just forgotten to close it again before the photos. Good reminder to myself to stop messing with the bracelet so much as one day I'm sure I'll unclasp it and it will fall off! As you can see I fixed it for the detail shots.

My asos sale order arrived yesterday, a week after I ordered it! Very impressed! I was really happy with everything too which is good, as sometimes the sizing is off or things don't look as good as they do on the site so I return a piece or two. Excited to wear all of these pieces next week.

Do you have a good track record with buying clothes online or do you find you have to return a few items occasionally?

    Sadly, many clothes I buy online end up being way too big for me. I put them aside to take to the tailor, and never end up doing it! A year later, I give them away! :( So now I am very careful with ordering online... I try not to unless I am very sure of the sizing!

      I also have a small pile of clothes that aren't quite right and need to go to the tailor - there is an amazing lady that has a store near my parents, always go take a few things to her when I can.

    ansolutely love asos, they have always awesome clothes on sale. i order online quite often and must say they I just returned an itme once cause it was too small, but in generel I am always happy with the items :)

      Thanks Bubble - I do find trying things on better sometimes, once I'm comfortable with a brand it's easier to buy online as I know my sizing.
