Floral Dresses, Boots and Black Jackets

Two different floral print dress outfits for church, both worn with boots.

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest black leather moto jacket
Necklace: handmade pink and white polymer clay beaded necklace
Dress: Anko Kmart Navy white print tiered dress
Shoes: Asos Cleo leather boots in tan
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC redyed with Angelus hot pink leather paint

Why I wore it:

I wore this back in August, winter weather for Brisbane. So I added some leggings under this dress and with the tall boots to keep myself cosy on the cooler morning. This dress has little flutter sleeves so I layered up on top with this black leather jacket, it goes with everything and kept me warm for a morning church service.

I couldn't resist going a little matchy-matchy with the accessories, this polymer clay necklace I made with my son recently looks so good worn with the redyed pink Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag. I like navy and pink together as well, the pops of pink were a nice touch with this outfit.

Why I wore it:

Again wearing a floral dress to church. I wore this not that long ago, so spring in Brisbane as you can tell from the bare legs! I also went matchy-matchy with the accessories on this, with the magenta metallic statement necklace and the magenta Marc by Marc Jacobs convertible clutch bag. The deeper pinky-purple is so nice with all the purples in this floral dress.

I also matched the black ankle boots to the black duster, which is a recent opshop find. I worried the dress might be a little short, but the long duster over the top made it feel more comfortable. I really liked the plain black with the fun purple and blue floral print on the dress.

This dress is also an opshop find, and this is its third and final wear. It's not the first time I've worried it was too short, it feels shorter than it looks so I'm just going to donate it back to the opshop so someone else can buy and enjoy it - and hopefully not worry about the length.
