Here's what I wore to go out with DH and baby T:
Sunnies: Rayban new Wayfarers
Scarf: Inca 4 Stripes tee C/O Sundried (use promo code 'INCA' for 25% off!)
Jeans: Sass and Bide strayed misfits skinny jeans
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Although I tried this tee on with my maxi skirt as soon as it arrived, for its first proper wearing out of the house I went with a classic and comfortable option - blue jeans!
Sundried sent me this lovely tee to wear, and I also get to pass along a discount code for you - just use promo code 'INCA' at checkout to get 25% off. I like the fun Peruvian-inspired tribal print, and it's great to know that the company is committed to doing good. The tee is made from organic cotton, and the company always works with fair-trade manufacturers. I'm the first to admit that I probably don't know as much about the origins of my wardrobe's contents as I should, which is why it's nice when you come across a company that proudly shares how they are trying to improve the world.
Last worn: Ray-ban, Sass and Bide jeans, Converse. First time I've worn the tee.
Here's what I wore for a casual day at home:
Sunglasses: Rayban new Wayfarers
Top: Oscar's Law 'Break the puppy trade' tee
Jeans: Jeanswest 'spoylt' super skinny jeans
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Another grey tee and denim combo! Did switch out the black Converse for my white ones, to make it a little different ;) Wanted to be comfortable for a quiet day at home - we had family over in the morning and went out in the afternoon for our usual walk.
I support Oscar's Law, and their message to "adopt, don't shop", and their goal of changing the law to prevent pet stores from selling puppies. Such a good cause to get behind. It would have been nice to have our little adopted dog Cooper sitting next to me for the photo, but he was busy catching up on his naps! He's still adjusting to baby T's cries interrupting his naptime schedule. Sometimes he lets out a big sigh when baby starts to cry, to let me know his nap has been cut short. It's very cute.
Last time I wore this tee I was stretching its limits in the third trimester of pregnancy, after getting it in the second trimester! It's so strange looking back at things I've worn during pregnancy and now, and a little odd wearing things I bought during pregnancy without a baby bump for the first time!
Last worn: Ray-ban Wayfarers (see above), Oscar's Law tee, skinny jeans, Converse.
I adopted my poodle @ 3. He is now nearly 17 years old. So funny re Cooper's sigh!! Our second dog - a Frenchie is hilarious, he wakes up really bleary eyed and would sleep in until midday. Very unlike a typical dog - up at any noise. You look trim and terrific in the denims. No such thing as a 'denim rut' when you are young and gorgeous! Xx
ReplyDeletehaha thanks Flora! I think it's easy to fall into a denim rut at any age! :)
DeleteYour pups are adorable - so great you could adopt an older doggy too! Coops was quite young when we got him.
These are both great tees with good behind them. Well done! I love the white converse. I have a gray pair but think the white would be a great addition considering I wear mine so much.

I love that you wear your support. But (and I'm just teasing you, Mica) isn't this "Away from blue"...? ;-P totally kidding - you look amazing in your jeans!
ReplyDeleteI laughed at Cooper's sighs over the baby.
haha it is, it is. Sometimes I just can't seem to drag myself away from the denim!
Deleteboth of these tees are awesome. love the first company's mission & the message behind your second tee. that story about cooper is too cute. my dog doesn't like his naps interrupted either -- he gets really grumpy!

Cooper just acts so sad when his naps are cut short - I can't imagine him grumpy, that would be fun to see!
DeleteComfy dressing is sometimes all we need. T shirt and jeans are a great combo and staple in most of our daily wardrobe! You look really cute in both outfits!
ReplyDeleteI love the print of the tee Mica and what a great company! Looks great with jeans :)
ReplyDeleteJeans and tees are the best combination! Haha, so simple, casual, and even better when your tee has a great message :)

you look so good after becoming a new mom!! Miss you!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you Cecylia! :)
DeleteYou are SO right. Some days just call for jeans. Pretty much everyday once the temperature finally gets below 70.
ReplyDeleteLOVE these simple, casual and yet chic outfits. A tee and jeans can always be so comfy and yet classy! I am totally with you on the adopt vs shop..I know a couple here who bought a pure bred just because they wanted a "new" dog. disgusts me..
ReplyDeleteSo sad that not everyone adopts! Lots of good reasons to go through a trusted breeder though, if someone can't adopt that's a better alternative than buying from a pet store and supporting a puppy farm! :)
DeleteI love these casual outfits and how both tee shirts are for good causes! :)
ReplyDeleteJust can't beat a good pair of jeans with a nice favourite tee! That's what I wear at weekends with my girl!!!
