Printed Shorts and Striped Tops

Because I do love sticking to the same basic outfits over and over....more stripes and more shorts! Linking up with #Shareyourshorts again.

Here's what I wore to go into the city with baby T:
Pattern Mixing Jeanswest stripe tank printed shorts pink sandals LV neverfull damier
SunniesRayban new Wayfarers
Necklacecustom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
TopJeanswest 'Josie' striped back strap tank (on sale!)
ShortsJeanswest 'Scarlette' printed shorts (new purchase)
ShoesBalenciaga studded sandals in sorbet RGGH
BagLouis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull

First wearing of these cute printed shorts from my November purchases. Wanted to wear them with stripes to have a little bit of print mixing. Not sure if it was too much with the checked Louis Vuitton as well though? At least it was all shades of blue to pull it together.

I had to go into the city to get a bracelet repaired, and wanted to stop by Louis Vuitton just for a bit of a browse...of course I ended up ordering something! Won't pick it up for a while yet, it's my Christmas present from hubby.

I wore my neverfull bag as I think sometimes when I go into high end stores like Louis Vuitton that they will know I have to save up to afford anything and that I might get ignored. Thought the neverfull was a good way to make it seem like I 'belonged' in the store. I didn't have to worry, because as per usual the staff in Louis Vuitton were so polite and helpful. I can't be the only one that worries about what I'm wearing when stepping into luxury stores though, haha. Do you do that too?

Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarer, striped tank, studded sandals, Louis Vuitton neverfull. First time I've worn the shorts.

Here's what I wore to run around at the shops:
casual Queensland summer errands outfit denim shorts striped tee
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
TeeJeanswest 'Marina' stripe henley
ShortsJeanswest printed denim shorts
ShoesHavaianas tropical print thongs

More stripes! It was a slightly cooler start to the day, so I wore this striped top with the longer sleeves. A much more casual outfit than above as I was rushing around a little in the morning trying to get some errands and Christmas shopping done. No handbag, as I had everything I needed in the baby bag.

I made such a good head start on gifts at the Giftorium in October, but suddenly it's December and I'm running out of nap times to get everything organised! I doubt that baby T would be impressed if I tried ignoring him at playtime to do more shopping ;)

Last worn: Rayban Wayfarer (above), striped henley, printed shorts, Havaianas.

  10. I can't believe it's already December Loving the stripes Mica - it's been really hot down here too. I wish I could just wear shorts and thongs to work! I used to be nervous stepping into high end stores when I was a lot younger. But these days being Asian, in high end stores apparently it doesn't matter what you wear/how you dress anymore - they all think I'm going to buy something and I usually prefer being left alone! Looking fwd to seeing what your Christmas pressie is, lucky girl ;) x

    1. haha maybe when I mature I'll be less nervous shopping in high end stores! I always get a bit worried they won't be impressed with someone who has to save and only want to talk to the big spenders haha!
Hope your time in Tassie brings you some cooler weather!

  19. Oh man, I know those feelings too. I always feel like I have to overcompensate in going into luxury stores like that. For me it stems from those days in the 90's when I was totally awkward and would accompany my my mum into Gucci and the staff where so, so rude. I forget that these days attitudes have changed, people are kinder and customer service is a priority.

  20. I never step into luxury stores - I definitely feel like I don't belong! Any luxuries I have came to me second hand.
