Lace Pencil Skirt, Oversized Top, Balenciaga Sapphire City | Casual Friday Jeans and Tee, Bal Day Bag

Here's what I wore to work on Thursday:

Sunglasses: pink leopard print sunglasses from Paddy's Markets in Sydney
Top: Jeanswest 'Leila' embroidered top
Skirt: Living Doll Wednesday black lace skirt
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs patent leather logo plaque flats
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted purple Salvatore Ferragamo 'Vara' leather bow bracelet
Bag: Balenciaga purple RH city in 2008 sapphire


Kept the accessories simple, didn't wear a necklace. I tried on a few necklaces in the morning, but they all seemed a bit much with the embroidered panel on the top and the lace on the skirt. Figured the texture was enough to add some interest to the outfit. What do you think?

Bracelets: the usual plus gifted Balenciaga classic double tour bracelet in pearly grey
Bag: Balenciaga giant hardware Day bag in 2009 tempete


Got lots of comments on my necklace today! Maybe it just popped against the purple tee? I had a comment from a colleague that he was worried I was wearing a radioactive necklace! Apparently this looks similar to necklaces made of volcanic rock that can have harmful, radioactive chemicals in them? Never heard of that before, that was an interesting elevator ride! :)

      It was so weird! I didn't get to ask many more questions about it as it was a quick lift ride, but it gave me a giggle :)

    Radioactive necklace ? made out of volcanic material ? Oh I actually have a charm I bought in Taormina, Italy which is black and it's made out of volcanic rock. I'm gonna have to google this :)
