Really felt like wearing blue and grey again on Thursday. Wanted to be comfortable, but also had an important meeting in the afternoon. I thought this jacket was a nice way to dress up a tee. It was a little cold though! The day before had been warm as I planned the outfit, but in the single digit temperatures on the way to work in the morning I was wishing I'd not picked a cropped sleeve jacket, haha!
Last worn: Zara cropped sleeve blazer, blue tee, Asos pencil skirt, glitter flats, RM grey MAM bag.
Here's what I wore to work today:
Jacket: Wittner Santa Fe cobalt blue leather jacket
Necklace: gift from DH
Top: Living Doll stripe 3/4 sleeve top
Jeans: Sass and Bide "Straight up" jeans
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs logo plaque flats in two tone blush and black
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted Balenciaga classic pearly grey double tour bracelet
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Jeans for casual Friday! Had an off-site event today so carried my neverfull to hold all the important bits and pieces I needed. Ended up being a really long day.
I was pleased I'd picked flats to wear as during the morning the fire alarm sounded and we all had to evacuate. From the 17th level! Wasn't very fun, but it did give us a bit of a break in the day and let us enjoy the sunshine for a bit. :)
Linking up with Casual Friday, Friday's Five, Friday's Fab Favourites, Friday's Fancies today.
Last worn: blue leather jacket, striped top, Sass and Bide jeans, two-tone flats, Louis Vuitton damier Neverfull.

I love the blazer you are wearing for Thur! It is very "Chanel-eque"! Grey and blue are quite nice together. I should try that when winter comes (I have to think very hard to see if I even own anything in blue for winter haha). I am such a warm-tone person most of my clothings are red, pink, brown etc haha :)
ReplyDeletep.s. looks like you are really loving the grey RM MAM! Breaking it in nicely too!
hehe I can't imagine a wardrobe without blue! :P Although I am getting better at buying other coloured clothes now, haha.
DeleteThe MAM is breaking in nicely, I've enjoyed wearing it a lot recently.
Chic outfits!
ReplyDeleteLove the pops of blue in both your outfits! Its such a great color to incorporate in outfits :)

I love that you take pictures of your work outfit everyday. I feel like I need to start doing this so I remember what I wore and when I wore it!
It's easy to do, and you learn a lot as you do it, you should give it a try :)

Thank you Irina :)
DeleteI was going to say I love your Zara jacket but when I scrolled down to your second outfit...my heart skip a beat on that gorgeous cobalt blue jacket! I have a coworker that always kept running shoes in her office for fire alarms or any other emergencies. I always thought that was so prepared for the worst so I started keeping extra running shoes in my car trunk. They've come in handy for times when I forget to pack shoes to the gym.

It is a stunner of a jacket :)
DeleteI know how your coworker feels, I once had to borrow a pair of shoes from a colleague to get down the stairs in a fire drill when I was wearing heels, haha!!! Now I always have a pair of flats at my desk at work just in case. But I will need to remember to be more careful when I go off-site!
I love everything about your casual Friday outfit. I can't believe you are organized enough to get ready and a photo done before work each day. Great work!

hehe, thank you :) Easier getting up an extra 5 minutes early to take them when the lighting is great, than when I get from home from work and it's all dark :P
DeleteWow looks like you've had a cobalt moment. It's such a great colour to wear and goes perfect with your grey accessories! Love the pearly grey double tour :)

DeleteThank you all for your kind comments :)
ReplyDeleteCool Jackets Mica ;)
ReplyDeleteI really love you in blue and grey! Perfect with your coloring and excellent choices from casual to dressy. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI've had to pack an emergency jacket almost everyday the last 2 weeks, the weather is making outfit planning hard!! xx
ReplyDeleteIt is always cool where you live. It is hard to imagine cool in August. But I did live in Seattle so I can wrap my brain around the occasional cool day in summer. Oh you look great as usual!
