Lack of Cowboy Boots

Lazy Sunday today. I created a "western wear" outfit for the Frivolous Friday challenge at the Fashionoclast.

I think the scarf as a bandanna worked well, but the addition of cowboy boots would have been even better for the challenge. My Asos boots did the job instead, as I don't own cowboy boots. I feel I should somehow.

Top: Jeanswest singlet
Scarf: no brand, from a market years ago
Bracelets: the usual plus two labradorite ones from Indigo Rose Design
Jeans: Sass and Bide "neon nights"
Boots: Asos Cleo leather long leg boots

Closeup of accessories:

Do you own cowboy boots?

  1. I do own cowboy boots but I don't wear them anymore. I wore them quite a bit when I lived on a farm. I like yours--the color is perfect!

  2. I don't have cowboy boots but to be honest, a week or so a go I was looking for a pair of vintage (black) ones :D ! Still haven't find them, but hope I will soon!

  3. How funny, just the other night I found myself wondering whether I could pair cowboy boots with my black dress (answer: if it's possible, i haven't met the right pair yet) !

Short answer, I don't own a pair myself but I think that your outfit is cute as is ;)

  6. Those cowboy boots are really lovely! I don't have any. I actually don't have any brown boots which are really in right now. I need to get a pair, but summer is on it's way. Perhaps next season ...

    Great post!
