A shelter dog changed my life...

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my post yesterday. I expect the odd mean or snarky comment directed at me, but it really upset me to see someone saying such nasty things aimed at Cooper.

Lots of people were asking about my shirt today. It was good to be able to tell them all about the wonderful work the Animal Welfare League of Queensland does, and how we adopted Cooper from them. A better picture of the Balenciaga rose bruyere bracelet:
I ordered this bracelet from the US last Saturday, and it arrived on Thursday. That's 4 business days! To illustrate just how fast that is for those not used to shipping from the US to Australia, the bracelet arrived a day before an item from Sydney, which I had ordered on the same day.
Oh and I used a free shipping code too so the fast shipping didn't cost me a penny! Erica at HGBags is the best - she shipped the bracelet hours after I had ordered it.


Very glad it is the weekend - looking forward to spending lots of time with DH and my adorable Cooper.

    My wife and I adopted two shelter kitties, and life just wouldn't be the same without them. So I know exactly where you're coming from. It's a great message for a t-shirt, and hopefully it will get to reconsider buying from a breeder or puppy-mill pet store and give a loving home to a shelter animal in need. I keep a sticker on my car encouraging people to adopt; it's in the eye-catching style of a now-iconic Shepard Feiry design.

    That bracelet is awesome, btw. :)

      Thanks! Shelter animals are the best :) Even if I only made a couple of people think about adopting, that's a couple more lives saved :)

      I had to google Shepard Feiry as I wasn't sure, but I definitely recognise his work even here we have seen the obama poster. Very cool to have an adoption sticker in his design!
