Last wear - printed skirt

Here's what I wore today:
Top: Supre
Necklace: freshwater pearl strand, gifted
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted faux pearl bracelet and red crystal bracelet by Indigo Rose Design
Belt: Op-shop
Skirt: Barkins
Shoes: Skechers

My knee was still painful today so it called for supportive shoes! That's what you'll get on this blog - the good, the bad, and the horribly ugly but completely necessary supportive boring shoes!

Think I'm going to donate this skirt back to the AWLQ op-shop - I picked it up at a fundraising rummage sale at for the Animal Welfare League of Queensland shelter where we adopted Cooper. It's so pretty, but every time I wear it I don't feel comfortable. It's a gorgeous print but I think it's a bit too long on me, and it has a lot of volume. Not bad for $2, just not for me.

What do you do when you're not enjoying wearing a particular item any more? I always like to try things for a last wear before I decide if they stay or go.

    1. Thanks! I'm no good hemming myself and getting it altered would cost more than I paid for the skirt, so I think donating it back is the best way to go :)

  12. Love the necklace and bracelets! The red bag is also gorgeous! I think the dress is cute and if you wear it with a pair of heels it won't seem as short! :)

  13. I like the soft colors of your outfit and how you jazzed up the look with the red accents on the belt and bag. The print on the skirt is really adorable! Hope your knees get better soon so you can wear heels!

  14. I'm really loving the bag, the skirt is fantastic as well! Such a great piece to wear right now as we transition into spring, I could see it looking great with a pair of coloured tights.
