Like all of my blog posts, this one is scheduled in advance. I will be spending the day with my family. On Christmas Eve we decorate cookies, do Christmas crafts, and watch Christmas movies. To keep in the festive spirit, I'm sharing 3 of my recent Christmas themed outfits with this Santa scarf from Fashion Scarf Girl (c/o).
What I wore:
Tee: Jeanswest Kaylin star foil grey tee
Shorts: Jeanswest Sara distressed hot short
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff red micro Avery cross body bag
Why I wore it:
This is what I wore for our annual pre-Christmas shopping trip! All the girls in the family go out for the day, picking up last minute gifts for others and buying gifts for each other when we see things we have to have. It's such a fun tradition and even if we don't manage to buy a lot we always have a great time!Last year I wore a pretty dress, but this year the kids came along so I thought shorts were a more practical choice! Added a little festivity to my printed tank and shorts outfit with this fun scarf. The red Rebecca Minkoff mini Avery bag was a nice bit of matchy matchy red too.
Last worn: star print foil tee, black denim shorts, Havaianas, Rebecca Minkoff micro Avery bag.
Other ways to wear: star print foil tee worn two ways, black denim shorts in capsule wardrobe, Rebecca Minkoff micro Avery bag and dress.
What I wore:
Scarf: Fashion Scarf Girl red Santa scarf (c/o)
Earrings: A Little Bit of North blue mandala earrings (giveaway prize, close up photo)
Dress: black Jeanswest halterneck maxi dress
Shoes: Rebecca Minkoff Georgina studded gladiator sandals in blush
Bracelets: the usual plus Edenborough Evans 'Ivy' silver cuff
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff chevron quilted small Love crossbody bag in pale coral
Why I wore it:
Another Christmas event, another opportunity to wear this Santa scarf! I wore it with black again, this plain black halterneck maxi dress was a lovely backdrop and really let the scarf shine. Perfect for an end of year celebration dinner with some other mums from my local Australian Breastfeeding Association. I quickly got changed after work into this, a simple outfit but so comfortable to wear for dinner. As I was kid free, I made the most of it and picked this adorable little Rebecca Minkoff small love bag to hold my essentials. Another cheerful pop of colour!
Last worn: Jeanswest maxi dress, earrings, Santa scarf (above), silver cuff, Rebecca Minkoff Georgina sandals, Rebecca Minkoff pale coral small love bag.
Other ways to wear: Jeanswest maxi dress layered for winter, Rebecca Minkoff Georgina sandals and printed shorts, Rebecca Minkoff pale coral small love bag and skinny jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: Jeanswest maxi dress in second trimester.
What I wore:
Scarf: Fashion Scarf Girl red Santa scarf (c/o)Tank: Jeanswest 'Josie' striped back strap tank
Shorts: thrifted Jeanswest distressed denim shorts
Shoes: Kmart sparkly silver glitter sneakers
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff red micro Avery cross body bag
Why I wore it:
Last but not least, wore this to take the boys to White Christmas at Movie World. It was the first time we've been to White Christmas and the first time the boys had been to Movie World! In December, the park opens for a few hours in the evening to allow you to enjoy the Christmas festivities. With a big Christmas parade, snow falling and so many Christmas themed activities, the Santa scarf was an obvious choice. With a simple shorts and a tank outfit, as it was still hot and I had anticipated going on a lot of rides with the boys!
Again I paired the red Santa scarf with the Rebecca Minkoff Avery bag - it's such a nice combo!
Last worn: striped tank, distressed denim shorts, silver glitter sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff Avery bag (above).
Other ways to wear: striped tank and purple jeans, distressed denim shorts and kimono, silver glitter sneakers and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Avery and skinny jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: striped tank in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:
An easy way to make an outfit festive without spending a lot is by adding an accessory. This Santa scarf works perfectly for winter, but what about a heart print scarf for Valentine's day, or a bunny printed clutch for Easter? Accessories are a cheap and cheerful way to change up an outfit and make it festive for an occasion.
No matter what you're wearing or what you're doing, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and get to experience God's peace and love in your life. Merry Christmas!
