Printed Maxi Dresses and Cream Chloe Small Paddington Bag

Being a bit behind with sharing what I wore on the blog, these are the outfits I wore for Easter with the family. We spent the day before Easter with my family down the coast, and then Easter Sunday at church in the morning and the in-laws in the afternoon.

What I wore:

Necklacevintage gold initial necklace
Earrings: thrifted Lovisa red tassel earrings
Dress: Orange Sherbet Zoe tiered dress in geranium print pink
Shoes: thrifted Les Tropeziennes Par M.Belarbi leopard print and gold leather sandals
Bracelets: the usual plus red Polka Luka resin bangle and thrifted cream resin bangle duo set
BagChloe small Paddington in 2006 blanc

Why I wore it:

Another wearing of this beautiful floral tiered maxi dress, for Easter Sunday morning at church, an egg hunt for the kids, and then over to the in-laws for Easter lunch.

It was a warmer day than I expected so I was able to go without a jacket which was nice, and wore these thrifted sandals. The red tassel earrings are a new with tags opshop find, and they are so perfect with the red floral print in this dress. I tried to be a little more matchy-matchy with the bangles too, the red resin one was a gift from a friend but the cream resin ones were also an opshop find.

While the Chloe small Paddington bag is more of a darker creamier almost beige colour, I still thought it went nicely with all the white in this outfit, and as I've been inspired to wear my Chloe Paddington bags again this was definitely overdue a spin. It's such a cute bag.

The only think I didn't like about this outfit was that my necklace snapped! Thankfully I caught the charm as well as the chain, and have already been to the jeweller to fix it. It's a super old necklace I've had for decades so I'm pleased it was able to be fixed.

Last worn: vintage initial necklace, cream resin bracelets, red resin bangle, Orange Sherbet floral tiered maxi dress, leopard print sandals, Chloe small Paddington bag. First time I've worn the earrings as they are a recent opshop find.

Other ways to wearOrange Sherbet floral tiered maxi dress for Christmas, leopard print sandals and skirt, Chloe small Paddington bag and jeans.

What I wore:

Earrings: thrifted Lovisa red tassel earrings
Necklace: Lovisa gold filigree heart pendant
Dress: thrifted colourful geometric print maxi dress
Shoes: thrifted Seed Heritage tan braided sandals
Bracelets: the usual plus vintage silver charm bracelet

Why I wore it:

Again I couldn't resist going matchy-matchy with the print in this dress and the red tassel earrings! This was another Easter celebration, a day earlier down the coast with my family. I wanted to be comfortable and pulled together but also be able to run around with the kids as my mum always plans the most epic Easter egg hunts. And there is so much good food, I didn't want anything restrictive to wear. This geometric print maxi dress is a firm favourite, and was also, like the braided sandals, an opshop find.

Just like in the outfit above, the cream-toned small Chloe Paddington bag doesn't match anything in this outfit, but I liked it all the same. It's such a cute accessory. I did try match it a little with the rose gold necklace, I figured the gold hardware was far away enough from the necklace that you couldn't see the mismatch in the gold tones too much.

Last worn: red tassel earrings (above), rose gold filigree heart necklace, geometric print maxi dress, braided sandals, Chloe small Paddington bag (above).

Printed Dresses and Mango Yellow Balenciaga Envelope Clutch

Adding a big pop of colour to my printed dresses for Easter weekend back at the start of April, with my mango yellow Balenciaga envelope clutch.

What I wore:

Earrings: gold pendant chandelier earrings
Necklace: thrifted yellow beaded statement pendant long necklace
DressJaase Celine autumn leaves mini dress
ShoesNovo Tawny rose gold sandals
Bracelets: the usual
BagBalenciaga envelope clutch in 2012 mangue with giant 12 RGGH

Why I wore it:

Wore this for an early Easter lunch and egg hunt with my family down the coast. I wanted to be comfortable, so flat sandals and this amazing Jaase printed dress were perfect. I thought that the yellow necklace and mango Balenciaga envelope clutch, along with the statement gold earrings, made this a little more formal for Easter lunch. But still comfortable and practical for a day full of eating and egg hunting and playing in the back yard! We actually all ended up staying for dinner as well, we had so much fun! It was a really good day.

Converting Balenciaga Envelope Clutch Into A Shoulder Bag:

What I wore:

Earrings: Colette silver filigree leaf diamante statement earrings
NecklaceTiffany & Co pink double heart tag pendant necklace
Dress: Kmart red flora printed wrap dress
ShoesRebecca Minkoff Georgina studded gladiator sandals in blush
Bracelets: the usual
BagBalenciaga envelope clutch in 2012 mangue with giant 12 RGGH

Why I wore it:

Wore this to church on Easter Sunday. Unlike our family egg hunt, I wasn't going to be able to leave my clutch sitting as we ran round searching the garden for eggs. So I decided to take this little chain strap I bought on ebay last year to use with my MbMJ clutch, to turn this Balenciaga envelope clutch into a shoulder bag. It was pretty good for a quick hack, as you can see in the video. Even if the chain strap isn't centred in the bag I found it worked well enough for the morning and afternoon at church. And most importantly, it let me be hands free for the egg hunt with the kids, ha!

Although the Balenciaga envelope clutch has rose gold hardware, with the silver chain strap I felt silver accessories would be best so went with these statement silver leaf earrings and little silver Tiffany necklace.

Last worn: Kmart flora coral wrap dress, Tiffany necklace, silver leaf earrings, studded sandals, Balenciaga mango envelope clutch (above).
