Graphic Tees, Linen Shorts and Rebecca Minkoff Cupid Bag | Weekday Wear Link Up

More photos from our Sea World Resort staycation for today's Weekday Wear Link Up! I kept things simple and comfortable for our days exploring the theme parks, with linen shorts and graphic tees. the Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag was a good size for carrying everything we needed, yet small enough to leave in the lockers at the side of the rides when we rode.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted digital print no label kimono
Tee: Canada bear graphic tee
Shorts: thrifted Kmart turquoise linen shorts
ShoesSketchers Bountiful navy fabric sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bagthrifted Rebecca Minkoff vintage Cupid satchel in dark navy blue

Why I wore it:

Grabbed this opportunity to get an outfit pic after just coming off the Wild West Falls ride you see behind me, so I was a little drenched from the splashdown! It was lots of fun though, although not one of my son's favourite rides. Maybe when he's a bit older!

Although the blue in the graphic print on the tee doesn't match the turquoise of the linen shorts, I really liked the two together! And I added the printed cover up on top mostly for the extra sun protection, as we walked around the theme park all day. I liked those the little mustard triangles in the print complimented the yellows and oranges in the graphic of the tee.

Last worn: printed cover up, graphic tee, linen shorts, Sketchers, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid.

Other ways to wearprinted cover up and dress, graphic tee and jeans, linen shorts and white tee, Sketchers and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid and denim.

What I wore:

Jacket: Bubblegum denim jacket
Tee: Kisschasy United Paper People 2023 tour band tee
Shorts: thrifted Kmart cumin linen blend pull on shorts
ShoesSketchers Bountiful navy fabric sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bagthrifted Rebecca Minkoff vintage Cupid satchel in dark navy blue

Why I wore it:

Wore this for our trip down to the resort, and quickly realised once we were checked in and exploring the theme park that the denim jacket was a really silly idea for such a hot day! It had been a cooler morning when we had driven down the coast, but warmed up quickly, and the jacket spent most of the day in my bag as we jumped around between rides. I was thankful for it when we went out for dinner in the evening though and it had gotten cooler.

Again, the graphic print on this Kisschasy band tee doesn't really match the rust orange of the linen shorts, but I felt they were close enough together that this outfit worked. Especially with the dark navy Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag matching the black background on the tee nicely!

Last worn: denim jacket, Kisschasy band tee, orange linen shorts, Sketchers (above), Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag (above).

Other ways to weardenim jacket worn 30 ways, Kisschasy band tee and jeans, orange linen shorts and floral print, Sketchers and jeans, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag and dress.

Perfect for pregnancydenim jacket in second trimester.

  7. He will definitely enjoy the rides as he gets older! We have only done Sea World once and the girls really enjoyed it, although there is lots of conterversy here regarding the treatment of animals in Sea World. We haven't gone since they were very little but we all loved it at the time. I love the shorts and graphic tee outfit, super easy and casual, just the right thing for a day of exploring.

  12. Oh how fun! It sounds like you had a great time at Sea World. I'll bet that ride was great. I love what you wore there. I love the second outfit shown as well. That t-shirt with the shorts is the perfect combination. The colours are so fantastic.

  14. I think both of your outfits are fabulous. I really like the pop of the colors on the second tee, and I think the first tee goes very well with the shorts. For some reason, I just can't link up to your parties. I've tried everything. I'm sure it's on my end, though. I do hope you'll join me for Weekend Traffic Jam on Thursdays!
