Shoes: thrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual plus wooden bead bracelets and rose gold bead bracelet
Bag: Chloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut
Why I wore it:
After I recently wore this cosy kimono and remembered how much I love it, I just had to wear it again! It was perfect for keeping me warm in the colder morning while we went to a kid's birthday party, although it was a bit warm in the afternoon when we went to the library and were out in the sun at the playground with all that black!Because there was an organised activity at the party, the kids had a blast while I got to enjoy chatting to my friends, and of course there was plenty of food and delicious cake too. It was a good party for everyone.
This pink tee is one of my favourites and so was definitely due another wear! I considered a scarf but after it warmed up I was glad I'd picked the necklace instead. I thought the textured beads were a nice combination with the black and white design on the knit.
The Chloe Marcie bag was perfect for carrying all my essentials plus the kids water bottles too.

Why I wore it:
Another scarf-free day! This was an extremely warm winter day so I took the chance to wear this thrifted multi strand wooden bead necklace instead. With the black beads, black skinny jeans and black and white striped duster, I felt this bright pink tee popped even more than usual! It was a fun outfit for a quiet day - just the school run, working from home, a couple errands, and then sports in the evening. This duster is quite thin but polyester so it was perfect at keeping me just warm enough on the warmer day.
It's been a while since I wore this cute little mini Chloe Paddington bag I picked up at Glad Rags Markets - so since I didn't need to carry much I took it out for a spin. The lovely cream colour was another way to add a bit more lightness to the mostly black outfit.
Last worn: striped duster, black statement necklace, pink tee, Nobody Denim skinny jeans, Converse, Chloe mini Paddington bag.

How You Can Wear It:
Black and white are classic neutrals that go with everything! I like pink and black together and as you can see in these outfits, pink really stands out when worn with black and white printed pieces.
You look great:) thanks for your sharing...
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
It's so funny how different shades totally change the vibe of an outfit. Technically you're wearing the same colors but both outfits have their own feel and look great! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd as always, love your Chloe bag collection! So many classic pieces

Yes it's so easy to completely change up an outfit by just making one piece of the formula a little different :)
DeleteI like the pink t-shirts with your black pants and cardigan. I hope you enjoy the end of the week and weekend Mica.
ReplyDeleteI love both look, thanks for sharing with us
ReplyDeleteI hope you have an amazing day
Kisses ♥
Both looks are so fun! I love that poncho and how you styled it. It has some edgy vibes and also the striped cardi look is so fun. You always wear some of the most fun necklaces, they just pop out visually and fit right into both looks. Also, your hair is longer! Wow! Please do share your hair secrets. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week ahead Mica! It's getting toasty weather wise here and I'm not complaining. It's been cold and rainy few weeks ago and a break from the gloom is thoroughly appreciated!
Thanks! I feel my hair is growing really slowly right now! I was hoping it would be long enough to donate by summer but maybe not :(
DeleteI love both dusters and both bags, especially your vintage(?) small cream one - all that hardware! That bright pink is awesome on you - the black beads are fun, but I feel like they might be better as a "filler", for filling in an open neck, rather than over a higher necked top.
ReplyDeletePeople who organize activities for kids at parties, to free up their parents, are the best! Hope you have a lovely weekend, my dear friend!
Yeah I think the cream one is officially classed as vintage being from 2006, eek, haha! I can't find the perfect open neck for these beads but I have been trying occasionally! :) I really wish I could wear this necklace more often!
DeleteSo glad you were able to have a good time at the party! I love that kimono. It looks so comfy and definitely great for layering. It's wonderful that there have been some warmer winter days so you can have a bit of a break from the temperatures and go scarf free!
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
Yes it's nice to enjoy the warmer winter days, we had some history breaking colder ones at the start of winter, brr!
DeleteI wore pink today too. Cute.
ReplyDeleteMe encanto el primer outfit, saludos:D
ReplyDeleteI love the look of kimonos. They really do take an outfit up a notch! Not to mention so comfy. I love Chloe and Paddington was one of the ones I adore. The cream color is stunning!

I had such love for the paddington when it was released, I really need to wear mine more often!
DeleteThese outfits are very fine 😊 Have a nice day 😊
ReplyDeleteI feel both items look very classy with the pink.
ReplyDeleteTwo very different but wonderful shades of pink in these outfits! I love the way the poncho and sneakers in the first outfit work together - the same colors and both with a "stripe" vibe - because I do enjoy small matchy-matchy details :)
ReplyDeleteI love a little bit of matchy-matchy too!
DeleteI'm loving the pops of pink in both of your outfits, Mica. I can't put my finger on why exactly, but my favourite is the first one. Much as love the bright pink of the tee in your second outfit, I'm in love with the dusky rose of the one in your first outfit. And I'm swooning over that poncho too. Enjoy your weekend, Mica! xxx
ReplyDeletethe first one is my favourite too :)
DeleteI love your top that print is lovely on you. And your bag does so well with everything. I hope your having a great weekend. https://www.bauchlefashion.com/2022/08/glamour-accessories-that-will-up-your.html

ReplyDeleteI've seen some pretty awesome man-bags around! :)
DeleteLove the bit of a western vibe to your first outfit with the bag and kimono! The pink top is so pretty on you in the second!
ReplyDeleteI love the hot pink with all the other dark elements of that outfit! Such a fun pop of color!
ReplyDeleteOooo breaking out with Chloe! Both bags are gorge! Loving both looks but the second one really caught my eye. Love it!
