What I wore:
Dress: Jeanswest 'Chelsea' printed dress
Shoes: Novo Tawny rose gold sandals
Bracelets: the usual plus Roie Designs labradorite bracelets
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff emerald green mini 5-zip rocker bag (get 20% off with code "REAL")
Why I wore it:
First time I've worn this blue printed dress with green and I'm not sure why, I really liked this combination! It was a super hot day so picked this nice light dress, so easy to wear to church. It was just right for wearing to the Christmas fun fair and carol service in the evening too.I decided not to wear a necklace and tied the tassels into a bow at the neckline instead. I picked some green bracelets to stack with my usual silver ones and match the green mini 5 zip bag. The rose gold sandals were great in the heat and they tied in with the gold zips on the bag nicely too.
Last worn: teal earrings, boho print dress, rose gold sandals, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag.
Other ways to wear: navy boho printed dress and silver accessories, rose gold sandals and jeans, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag and maxi dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: navy boho printed dress in second trimester.
What I wore:
Necklace: Ruby Olive Art series long striped pod necklaceDress: Jeanswest Rachel Lyocell chambray dress
Shoes: Wittner 'Jasmarie' studded sandals
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff emerald green mini 5-zip rocker bag (get 20% off with code "REAL")
Why I wore it:
I'd planned something else to wear on this day but it was due to hit 38 degrees (100 Fahrenheit ) so I changed my mind and opted for a simple dress instead. It was a busy morning with a big appointment for my son. I wasn't sure if we would be able to make the special Christmas messy play after it but thankfully the doctor was on time and we were able to quickly drive to the messy play morning. The boys had so much fun and with the extra shade and water play it wasn't too bad in the heat. Even if I did regret wearing this pretty dress a little when the boys got really messy, haha! Thankfully my dress stayed clean even all our legs ended up covered in blue slime! š
I really liked the green bag with the chambray dress, and the necklace was a fun way to add even more colour to my outfit. š
Last worn: chambray button up dress, Ruby Olive necklace, studded sandals, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag (above).
Other ways to wear: chambray button up dress and kimono, studded sandals and pencil skirt, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag and yellow kimono.
Perfect for pregnancy: chambray button up dress in second trimester, studded sandals in third trimester.
What I wore:
Dress: Shein navy flower print flowy dress (c/o)
Shoes: Wittner 'Jasmarie' studded sandals
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff emerald green mini 5-zip rocker bag (get 20% off with code "REAL")
Why I wore it:
This outfit felt very festive! With the navy and blue dress I added my green Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag again as well as this green and red statement necklace. While it has 3/4 sleeves, this swing dress is a light viscose material and was perfect for a night out in the city. We took the boys our for dinner and then to the Enchanted Garden at Roma Street parklands. They string up lots of lights through the beautiful gardens there for Christmas and have music and fog...it's so beautiful and very magical to walk through.
Was such a humid night though, I was glad I just picked this light dress to wear!
Last worn: navy swing dress, red and green necklace, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag (above), studded sandals (above).
Other ways to wear: navy swing dress and ankle boots, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag and matching jeans, studded sandals and maxi dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: studded sandals in second trimester.
The little bag is so cute, I love it :) Happy weekend x
ReplyDeleteWhat a versatile bag! You know, whenever I've second guessed getting a colorful bag because I didn't know how often I'd wear it, I've always worn it more than I thought. You've perfectly demonstrated how one can wear a colorful bag in ways that enhance an already colorful outfit or allowing it to serve as the pop of color. Great styling! Have a great weekend ahead, love.

All three of these dresses are so cute! I especially love that first one. I have a hard time finding dresses that are polished casual but not too business-y and these would be perfect for that.

I love the little cut on the top dress - the way its tighter around the chest - makes a cute little shape
ReplyDeleteOnce again I love all three dresses and the handbag. You always look so nice and put together with your outfits. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous little green bag, Mica! You know I am partial to green. I almost picked up a similarly sized green bag in a thrift shop this week, but decided against it as I have far too many bags already. And of course, I'm regretting it now. Green paired with blue is also a favourite of mine, and I'm especially loving your first outfit. What a gorgeous dress! Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Mica! xxx
ReplyDeleteIf you get wear from it I always say buy the bag, haha! :)
