V-Neck Tees and Maxi Skirts With Chloe Paraty Bag

Another post with two different outfits from one very simple outfit formula: v-neck tees and maxi skirts! Accessorised with Converse and my little Chloe periwinkle Paraty bag. Perfect outfits for busy autumn days.

What I wore:

Earrings: Piper gold heart earrings
Necklace: thrifted gold large double circle necklace
Tee: Cotton On "The One" fitted v tee in Cole stripe white moonlight
Skirt: thrifted Tree of Life ochre maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual plus Roie Designs pearl, howlite and hematite beaded bracelets
Bag: Chloe periwinkle small Paraty

Why I wore it:

Wore this for the school run, helping in my son's classroom, working from home and then a couple of errands in the afternoon including haircuts for the boys. It was a humid autumn day so this light ochre maxi skirt was perfect. Every single time I wear this skirt with stripes I comment on how good it looks, and this is no exception! I really liked this outfit! I couldn't decide on a necklace to wear that morning when I remembered this awesome one I thrifted last year, it was such a good finishing piece for this outfit and I like how it matched the gold hardware on the little Chloe periwinkle Paraty bag too.

Comfy shoes were a must with all the running around so I went with my trusty Converse again.

Last worn: navy striped tee, heart studs, gold circle statement pendant necklace, ochre maxi skirt, white Converse, Chloe small Paraty bag.

Other ways to wear: navy striped tee and shorts, ochre maxi skirt and band tee, white Converse and navy dress, Chloe small Paraty bag with midi dress.

Tee: Spectrum basic v-neck tee in washed lilac
Skirt: thrifted navy viscose drawstring no label maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bag: Chloe periwinkle small Paraty

Why I wore it:

I love blue and purple together, so I'm surprised I hadn't worn this lilac tee with this navy maxi skirt I thrifted a while back! It is definitely a good combination of colours and pieces. Again I went matchy-matchy with the accessories, with this navy and gold beaded necklace and navy tassel earrings. Just had to wear my statement dangly earrings since the mask rules at school are lifted and we no longer need to wear a mask when picking up or dropping off our kids. I will of course wear a mask indoors and in crowds, it's just nice to break out the earrings again and not have to wear masks walking on the school grounds.

After the school run I had an appointment and then working from home before picking up the boys in the afternoon, and sports in the evening. Yet again I went with Converse for all that running around!

How You Can Wear It:

Both v-neck tees and maxi skirts are wardrobe staples for me! they are great to mix and match in mum outfits. You can try different colour combinations or like I have in the first outfit, use a stripe tee to add a little extra print to your outfit. It's a simple go-to mum outfit formula for a busy day.
