Blue Knits, Colourful Jeans and Chloe Ethel Bag

Wearing two blue thrifted knits, a new one I picked up on an opshop trip back in summer, and an older one also from an opshop, that's been in my wardrobe a few years. Paired with colourful jeans and some cosy scarves, because it's a chilly winter here in Brisbane!

What I wore:

blue and pink jeans and jumper outfit with navy polka dot scarf converse and magenta jeans | awayfromblue

chloe small ethel bag in light khaki handheld | awayfromblue

Scarf: Target Sadie woven scarf in blue spot print
Jumper: thrifted blue Kmart stitch detail knit
JeansSass & Bide The Winning Day Lovestate jeans in magenta
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

I really liked the colours in this outfit! I like blue and pink together and this knit was perfect with the magenta jeans. While I thrifted the knit back in December this is the first time I've worn it. It looks like it's never been worn and it was just $1 so I couldn't pass it up in the opshop even though I knew it would be a while before I wore it! Because it was an extra cold morning I added a scarf to keep cosy. I wasn't sure at first which one to go with but I liked the navy against the paler blue of the jumper and polka dots are always cute.

Nice simple outfit for the school run, working from home, and sports in the evening. Even if I did need to take the scarf off for the school pickup in the afternoon as the day had warmed up so much!

Last worn: polka dot scarf, magenta jeans, white Converse, Chloe Ethel bag. First time I've worn the blue jumper since I thrifted it back in summer.

Other ways to wearpolka dot scarf and stripes, magenta jeans and blazer, white Converse and maxi skirt, Chloe Ethel bag and striped dress.

Perfect for pregnancyConverse in second trimester.

What Fits Inside Chloe Ethel Bag:

What I wore:

blue and green outfit with cobalt knit paisley print infinity scarf sneakers and olive jeans chloe ethel bag | awayfromblue

olive jeans with chloe ethel light khaki | awayfromtheblue

ScarfSeed Heritage Paisley print snood
Jumper: thrifted Valleygirl blue knit jumper
Jeans: Jeanswest Vicki skinny pant in moss green
ShoesNew Balance Coast women's running shoe in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

This ended up being a really wet day! The rain barely let up! I wanted my cosiest scarf so I pulled out this studded paisley print infinity scarf / snood that I always enjoy using in winter. While the taupe shade is different from the more caramel tone of the Chloe Ethel bag, I thought the accessories looked nice together, and I always love blue and green! These olive jeans go with everything.

Wore this for a busy weekend day - with a bunch of errands, a library trip, and of course having to vote as well as it was back in May.

Last worn: cobalt marle knit, Paisley print snood, olive jeans, New Balance sneakers, Chloe Ethel bag (above).

Other ways to wearcobalt marle knit and maxi skirt, Paisley print snood and dress, olive jeans worn 30 ways, Chloe Ethel bag and pink dress.

Perfect for pregnancyblue jumper in first trimester, Paisley print snood in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

Jeans and a jumper is such a simple winter outfit, and you can always add a little extra warmth and print with a scarf.

Pink and blue is such a cheerful combo any time of year, though. Your first outfit is therefore my favourite! xxx

  14. I save things for months after buying them until it's the right season. That's a lovely sweater/jumper. I'm looking at that outfit and thinking, "This is the kind of outfit that needs a Sheila purse!" - that khaki one looks much better with the second outfit. Kudos on the scarf with the second outfit - it makes it all come together!

    Have a wonderful weekend, Mica!
