Spring: Stripes, Skirts and Printed Tees With LV Neverfull | Weekday Wear Link Up

Striped outfits with some skirts for the spring school holidays back in September! Wore these printed tees with skirts and my Louis Vuitton neverfull tote bag for a couple days out with the kids.

What I wore:

denim jacket with LV neverfull MM and thrifted outfit striped Coca-cola tee and rust ruffle mini skirt sneakers | awayfromblue

denim jacket worn with Louis Vuitton damier azur mm neverfull on shoulder | awayfromtheblue

Earrings: Piper gold heart earrings
Jacket
: Bubblegum denim jacket
NecklaceTiffany diamonds by the yard necklace
Tee: thrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
Skirt: thrifted no label rust ruffle tiered skirt
ShoesNew Balance Coast women's running shoe in black
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD and Hermes Kelly double tour bracelet in rubis
BagLouis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull

Why I wore it:

A while back one of my Tiffany bracelets broke, so I had to take it back to a store to get repaired. We decided to make a day of it and head out to Pac Fair again. They had some school holiday fun for the kids to enjoy: a little putt putt golf course through the shopping centre that kept them amused between us popping into shops. Not the most relaxing day trying to shop multiple places with the kids in tow, but certainly fun and they really enjoyed it. Especially the ice cream after lunch!

The Louis Vuitton neverfull was just right for carrying all our water bottles and some snacks for the kids - and thankfully because it's mostly coated canvas, just got a bit of a clean and no ill effects when I forgot to tighten the lid on a water bottle. It started filling the bag up with water before I realised it was a bit wet!

It was a warmer spring day but I thought I might be a little too cold with just a tee and skirt in the aircon of the shopping centre, so I layered my denim jacket on top of this. We couldn't help noticing that despite the warmer day though a lot of the stores seemed to still have the heating on. It was really warm in the individual stores. Probably didn't need the denim jacket after all. I did like how it looked with this outfit though, I've worn the denim jacket with this striped Coca Cola tee before. Such a cute pairing with this thrifted skirt too - both the tee and skirt are $1 each opshop finds!

What I wore:

black love local tee knotted over navy stripe maxi skirt converse and Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull | awayfromblue

Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull with black tee navy stripe maxi skirt | awayfromtheblue

Tee: The Collective Store Love Local tee in black
Skirt: Target navy side split maxi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD
BagLouis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull

Why I wore it:

Another day of school holiday fun, this one a bit more tailored for the kids though! Took the boys for a haircut in the morning, and then a trip to a newly constructed park I'd wanted to check out for a while. It had a little bit of everything with slides, swings, climbing equipment, water play and a bike track. It was a hit and hard to get the kids to leave in the afternoon, but we had to get home and have dinner as we had evening sports to get to.

Just had an easy outfit for the day, with the first wearing of this Love Local tee I got as a lucky door prize at an event I went to a while back. It's a bit oversized but easily fixed by knotting it. I liked the black with the navy striped maxi skirt and the longer oversized sleeves covered up my shoulders well to provide some sun coverage. The Louis Vuitton Neverfull was my bag of choice again, to fit all of our water bottles, snacks and essentials for our day out. It had dried out after the water bottle incident above which was a few days prior!

Last worn: navy stripe maxi skirt, blue Converse, Louis Vuitton Neverfull (above). First time I've worn the tee as it's a recent addition to my wardrobe.

Other ways to wearnavy stripe maxi skirt with mustard yellow, blue Converse and shorts, Louis Vuitton Neverfull worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancyLouis Vuitton Neverfull at 38 weeks.

How You Can Wear It:

Stripes and skirts are a good alliterative combo! Tees and skirts are comfortable for running around with the kids all day, and longer maxi skirts work well for a trip to the playground.

  7. Love that mustard colored skirt and it's such a perfect lengths on you! But both outfits are fabulous and I'm always a fan of stripes, so really like the maxi skirt as well!

Perfect outfits for fun days spent with the kids! We finally got a chance to go for a fall family hike, it's gotten harder to do now that they are teenagers/young adult and it doesn't help that my husband now has to work on Sundays (his "weekend" is now on Friday and Saturday instead.)

PS: I've had trouble getting my photo up here with linky tools, in fact I've had this problem on other blogs using linky tools too, no idea why... but it does link over to the correct blog post.

I'm so glad it was ruined after the water spill. Sounds like you had a great time with the kiddies. I'm always on the go when I babysit my brother's 3 kids. When I give them back, I end up sleeping for a day or two to recuperate. Haha! Hope you have a great week!

Lovely proposals with stripes, i liked both since they include this timeless print.... stripes are definitely my thing since I feel it makes you look stylish in a matter of seconds :)

I think my favorite one is the first with the Coca Cola retro tee, can't believe it was only $1! Nice purchase!

And that LV handbag seems like a timeless piece, actually I really like its name.... "never full" I imagine you can put everything there: from a light jacket, to snacks to things for your kids!

All the best and have a nice week!

I was looking through consignment to find the LV Neverfull in PM but it's almost like a needle in a haystack. Regret not buying it when it was available.
