Pink and Black Jeans and Tee Outfits With Love Too Bag

Two very different black and pink jeans and tee outfits, with patterned cover ups and my Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag.

Why I wore it:

It was good to get this cosy knit out again! The perfect topper to keep me warm for a day with the school run, working from home and a quick errand in the afternoon. I always enjoy getting this knitted poncho out each winter, it's like wearing a giant blanket really! The black and white pattern adds a nice bit of an interest to any outfit I wear it with, and it is warm enough so I just needed a plain tee underneath.  Added a little colour with the pink frayed hem Zara jeans, an opshop find.

The necklace doesn't have any pink in it but I liked the simplicity of it against the textures white tee and the pastel orange was a nice colour worn with the pastel pink jeans.

Why I wore it:

Wore this for a busy day, with the school run, working from home, and packing up for and driving the boys to camp in the evening.

Of course by the time we left for camp I'd swapped the light floral waterfall jacket for a cosier hoodie, but during the day this light jacket was all I needed. I liked the bright burst of colour it added to the monochromatic grey tee and black skinny jeans outfit. The turquoise wooden necklace and deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag were nice accessories to add a little more colour too.

Why I wore it:

Nice and colourful with this blue tee, ochre orange maxi skirt, and more blue with the denim jacket and deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag. I really liked the accessories with this outfit, the twist hoop earrings go so nicely with the mixed metal pendant necklace.

It was a little chilly for the school run so this denim jacket was a great layer over this maxi skirt and tee outfit. I wear blue with this maxi skirt often, I really like the colour combination! And it was nice and comfortable for working from home, and doing the school run. I picked up some of my sons friends from school the afternoon for a playdate too.

Why I wore it:

Another maxi skirt, blue tee and denim jacket outfit for another day of working from home. As well as also doing the school run, I took the kids to sports in the evening. I did kind of wish I'd worn a scarf with this as well in the evening! The denim jacket is great and usually keeps me warm, but it was quite a chilly night.

This was perfect for during the day though, my oldest had a special excursion so I had to drop him off for that in the morning. He had such a good day and did really well in the presentation in the afternoon - I'm proud of him! I needed a bag for all my essentials plus my camera for taking photos at his presentation, so I went with this purple Chloe Paraty. Like the orange maxi skirt, I like purple and blue together so I often wear this with blue. It's the first time I've worn it with this brown floral print maxi skirt and I really liked the deep purple with the brown and cream. I'm definitely going to have to wear them together again.

I skipped a necklace and just wore a statement pair of earrings with this outfit as I felt the subtle sparkle on the tee was enough interest that I didn't need to add a necklace. It never shows up too well in photos though!

Tees, Grey Jeans, Cocoon Cardigans And Love Too Bag

Another two jeans and tee outfits with some cocoon cardigans for autumn working from home days back in May. I'm wearing my little croc embossed Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag with both of these outfits, I love how it just goes with everything!

What I wore:

Why I wore it:

I liked the simplicity of this outfit, with the long grey cocoon cardigan keeping me warm, and the clay tee adding some colour between the grey cardigan and grey jeans. I picked the brown Converse as they seemed similar to the clay tee but they are much more different than I had thought. Luckily the brown is a nice neutral so they still work with all the other neutral grey tones in this outfit. I added a little extra colour with the pendant necklace as well.

Wanted to be comfortable more than anything and these stretchy jeans are very comfortable to wear - perfect for a bit of driving around in the morning for an early morning vet appointment for cooper, and then working from home for the rest of the day.

Why I wore it:

A very similar outfit with another neutral cocoon cardigan over grey jeans and a tee! This time around I went a little brighter with the pink tee, and the fuchsia earrings. While the shades of pink are very different I thought they looked nice together, and it dressed up my outfit a little for video calls as I worked from home.

My son had an early morning appointment at the doctors before school, I worked from home and then after school pickup they had an evening kids event at church to attend, so it was a bit of a busy day with the driving around. I was thankful for this cosy cardigan keeping me warm as it was a bit windy, especially at the event in the evening. Although I wore this back in autumn it was definitely starting to get cooler.

Pink Jeans, Grey Tees and Cocoon Cardigans

Two pink jeans and grey tee outfits for back in autumn, when the milder weather meant I just needed to layer with these cocoon cardigans. Both of them are opshop finds!

Why I wore it:

Wore this to volunteer at my local polling place for Election day, serving up sausages at the sausage sizzle! If you're not Australian you might not know most polling places have a BBQ, maybe even some baking, to fundraise for community groups. It was my first time volunteering on election day, although obviously not my first sausage sizzle, and it went well! Was good to contribute to democracy sausages!

I was very conscious I didn't want to dress in any of the political party colours but with the grey tee and the black cocoon cardigan this outfit needed a little colour. These magenta Sass and Bide jeans were the perfect pop. I added a little matching magenta with the marble necklace, and another shade of pink with the Converse. I really liked how this outfit came together, although I ended up taking the knit off quite early in the morning as it turned into a really warm day.

Why I wore it:

This was not as fun a day! I was quite busy as Cooper had surgery so I had to take him to the vets and pick him up afterwards. Along with this the kids had school, sports in the evening and I was also working from home. Thankfully the surgery went well! I dressed comfortably, jeans and tee is a go-to for working from home in cooler weather, and the pink leopard print cocoon cardigan kept me cosy. Just like the outfit above, I went with pink jeans again to add a little more colour. These are an opshop find, and although they are a lighter pink, a grey tee goes with everything! 

I wore my Chloe Paddington bag again, I've been carrying it a lot lately, and with such a busy day I didn't want the hassle of changing bags so just kept using this one, although when juggling Cooper in my arms I did wish I'd picked a lighter bag, maybe a crossbody one!

Two green toned camis for office days, with bright blazers over the top to add even more colour.

Why I wore it:

I really like blue and green together, but this is the first time I've worn this mint cami with the bright cobalt blazer. It was such a fun combination! I picked the grey pencil skirt to wear as I haven't worn it for a while. It used to be an office staple before 2020, but things are a lot more casual and relaxed in the office now, and so I was debating if I even still needed it in my wardrobe or if it's too corporate. I'm so glad that I gave it another wear, pleased that it fit, and it can come back into my office rotation, it's such a good basic!

Paired with casual Converse because they are my go-to shoe lately, along with the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag. While it's been worn more recently than the pencil skirt, it was still overdue a wear. Like the skirt, the bag also needs to be worn more often!

Why I wore it:

This was a much cooler and wetter day than the day above, so it called for jeans! I love dressing up jeans with a blazer in the office. And with the black jeans and the light olive cami it was a bit of a neutral outfit, especially with the brown Converse and the pale Chloe Ethel bag. I think the bright orange blazer was the perfect pop of colour with this outfit!

The blazer dressed up the jeans, covered up the spaghetti straps of the cami and kept me warm on the cold and wet commute.

Enjoying spring office dressing, wearing these two Kmart fuchsia pink dresses that are perfect for my very casual business casual office. I accessorised both these pink dresses with my little Rebecca Minkoff deep teal croc embossed Love Too bag.

Why I wore it:

This linen dress is such a firm favourite, and such a lucky opshop find. Every time I wear it it makes me happy! I love the colour and on this particularly warm spring day the linen was perfect for the heat on the commute and kept me cool rushing to school drop off and pick up too. I liked the bright tassel necklace against the fuchsia backdrop of this dress, and added more colour with the deep teal Love Too bag. Wearing Converse again, they are so practical for the commute and supportive for my weakened knee.

Why I wore it:

After a run of very summer like temps, it actually cooled off a little to be more spring-like so I took the opportunity to wear a scarf with this dress. This navy grid print scarf is an opshop find and although it's a very different shade of blue from the Love Too bag I liked both accessories together against the pink dress.

The only downside to this outfit was that I wished I'd layered a little more. I'd planned this outfit the night before and on waking up to a cooler morning though the scarf would be enough of an addition to keep me warm. It was much colder than I expected after all those warm days and I wished I'd added a jacket to this. Thankfully was nice and warm in the office, and wasn't too cold on the commute home.

Two very similar outfits for winter office days - colourful coral dresses with black leather jackets, bright blue scarves and my Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag.

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit! It was a colder day but with a slip under this dress, my cosy cobalt scarf and the thick leather jacket on top I didn't feel too cold from having my bare ankles popping out from under the dress. By the time I was back from the office and picking the kids up from school I was even warm enough to take the jacket off. Definitely appreciated and needed it on the cold morning commute though!

With the bright coral tiered midi dress I knew this blue scarf would look great. The deep teal Love Too bag is a different shade of blue with this outfit but I think it really worked with this colourful dress. I loved this outfit, colourful for a colder winter day.

Why I wore it:

This outfit I did not love as much as the one above. Very similar with a slip under a midi dress, a warm black leather jacket, sneakers and a cosy blanket scarf. This Louis Vuitton shawl is one of the warmest scarves I have. However I didn't really think this outfit through. I like this dress for work, I've worn it a few times, and the midi dress and leather jacket and cosy scarf combination worked well for the first outfit above.

With this midi dress being a wrap dress though, walking through the city in the morning to get into the office I realised the error of my ways as the wrap dress opens a little at the base as you walk, which left a lot more of my legs exposed to the cold than in the outfit above. I was glad to get into the heated office, and will be keeping this dress only for warmer days!

Dressing up jeans and a tee outfits for the office by adding these two collarless jackets on top of black skinny jeans.

Why I wore it:

This boucle collarless jacket is a really thick fabric so it seemed like a good choice for a winter workday. While jeans and a tee is a staple in my business casual office, I feel adding a jacket or blazer on top like this helps make it look a little more formal.

I really liked the pale coral tee with all the black in this outfit too, it was a nice way to add some colour without being too bold. I liked the extra little colour from the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love bag too, which works well with both the lighter tee and all the black in the rest of my outfit.

Why I wore it:

This was a busy day! My son had a sports day at school so I spent some time in the morning after drop off watching him compete, then travelled into the office a little later. I thought that this silk Diane Von Furstenberg jacket would be good as I wasn't expecting it to be too cold sitting on the side lines of the oval on a sunny morning. It was a little chilly though and I regretted not adding a scarf to this outfit!

Last time I wore this jacket I had a hard time picking a necklace, so I decided to just wear this pretty sparkly tee, although the sparkle never shows up in photos. I added the statement earrings instead of a necklace and I really liked this combination, even if it was not quite warm enough for the day.

While it's officially winter now in Brisbane, I still have some autumn outfits I wore that I haven't posted yet, like this printed shorts outfit I actually wore back in April! Both it and the second outfit are made up of green and black.

Why I wore it:

I really like this combination of a green piece in my outfit with the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag and the chunky green, navy and black geometric bead statement necklace. It's an outfit combination I've worn a few times. This is the first time I've worn the green tee with these black printed shorts though. I also liked this pairing.

Just needed something practical and comfortable to wear for a day of working at home with a break in the afternoon for a physio appointment. As it was back in April and a warm autumn, shorts and tee was perfect.

Why I wore it:

Another autumn outfit, but you can definitely tell it's cooler here! Again it's a black and green outfit, with the black zip detail skinny jeans, and a green floral duster. I wore my little Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag with this again as well. I really like wearing this teal bag with greens!

It's not the first time I've worn this green floral duster with navy either, I really like pairing navy tops with it. I thrifted this tee a while back and it has a beautiful metallic thread weaved through it that sadly just doesn't show up in photos. I really like it in person though, feels a little more special than a plain navy tee with that sparkle.

Jeans and a tee is always a good idea for a working from home day when I'm also doing the school run, and we had sports in the evening too.
