Why I wore it:
This was a busy day! I headed into the office after the school drop off, and then was back in the city again for a later afternoon appointment for my son after school. I picked this cute orange tiered linen dress to wear as it was a warm day, and I wanted to be comfortable for the driving around as well as the time in the office and at the appointment in the afternoon. The Nike sneakers were a good choice for all the driving as well.
I've worn yellow with this orange dress before, but this time I went all out with the yellow accessories! yellow tassel earrings and tassel necklace as well as the yellow mini 5-zip bag.

Why I wore it:
Unlike the day above, this was a bit cooler and rainy so I opted for a longer dress to keep my legs covered. Just like in the first outfit, I went with a lot of yellow accessories, with this cute thrifted necklace with the yellow stones and beads matching the yellow Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip bag. I wore my Adidas sneakers as a nice closed in option for the impending rain, but luckily I had managed to time my commute so that I missed all of the rain. I got into the office before it started and it stopped for a bit in the afternoon as I made my way home.
While it was a little cooler in the autumn morning I enjoyed getting another wear of this midi dress without a jacket - it will be jackets every day soon as it's getting cooler each morning.

ReplyDeleteBoth of these orange dresses look gorgeous on you, Mica! I understand why you choose the longer one because it was a bit more fresh that that day. A bit of length helps keep us warm. It's good you avoided the rain. The adidas sneakers are cute, though- rain or no rain. If I remember well you have a maxi version of this dress in another colour, right? The yellow bag is very cute as well.
