Pink and Blue: Floral Cover Ups With Louis Vuitton Neverfull | Weekday Wear Link Up

For today's Weekday Wear Link up, sharing two recent outfits where I added some light layers for spring with both of these floral toppers over shorts and tees, with sneakers and my Louis Vuitton Neverfull tote bag.

What I wore:

louis vuittin damier azur neverfull and blue tee denim shorts and magenta floral waterfall jacket | awayfromblue

magenta floral jacket and Louis Vuitton MM damier azur Neverfull | awayfromblue

JacketCotton On Leah kimono in Juddy floral cerise
Necklace: Colette marble and gold pendant drop long necklace
TeeCotton On The One fitted v tee in washed poolside blue
Shorts: thrifted Jeanswest distressed denim shorts
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
BagLouis Vuitton MM damier azur Neverfull

Why I wore it:

This was one of those spring days where I didn't quite get my outfit right, as I had to take this jacket off in the middle of the day when I took a break from working from home to take Cooper for his grooming appointment. It was perfect and light enough for the school run though in the morning and afternoon.

I really liked the print and colour this jacket added to the monochrome blue tee and denim shorts outfit, and how it tied in with the marble magenta and gold necklace. I really like a bit of matchy-matchy!

While I didn't have too much to carry with just the school tun, Cooper's appointment and working from home, I'd got all my things in this Louis Vuitton Neverfull from the previous outing and decided to just wear it again for ease of getting read that morning!

Last worn: magenta long sleeve waterfall floral jacket, baby blue tee, gold and marble necklace, denim shorts, blue Converse, Louis Vuitton Neverfull.

BagLouis Vuitton MM damier azur Neverfull

Why I wore it:

This was a fun day! Tried some blush pink with this duster, even though it doesn't have any blush in the print, I liked the pink shorts and matching necklace with it. Because the duster is so long I decided to leave the blue tee untucked, it was a nice relaxed outfit.

The kids and I went out shopping with mum to finish up a couple last little gifts and the Louis Vuitton Neverfull was the best size for carrying snacks and water bottles for everyone.

Last worn: blue earrings, tropical floral print duster, blue tee, gold and blush necklace, blush shorts, New Balance sneakers, Louis Vuitton Neverfull (above).

Other ways to weartropical floral print duster and chambray dress, blue tee and culottes, blush shorts and printed tankLouis Vuitton Neverfull worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancyLouis Vuitton Neverfull at 38 weeks.

How You Can Wear It:

Shorts and tee outfits are hot weather staples! It's easy to make a colourful outfit with a plain tee, and a light jacket can introduce more print and colour too.

  3. Spring is one of those seasons that are a bit tricky, especially early in spring, where the weather is cooler in the morning and heats up and then you have all these extra layers to carry around. Either way, I think kimonos are the perfect layer and I love them with shorts! Hope you are having a great week!

  5. You look great. With older kids I have less of a need for large totes but they used to be lifesavers.

  7. Pink + blue is always a winning combination, and I like the print mix between the floral and checkerboard, particularly in the first outfit. As a matchy-matchy person myself, I also loved how the pendant tied in with the colors of the outfit!

  9. It's always hard to get spring outfits right, because you never know if it will lean warm or cold. At least you were able to take the jacket off! It is a really gorgeous style though. I love the colour and pattern!

  16. Mica, both outfits are really cute! You know I love a kimono style topper over just about anything but I really love pairing them with shorts! Your Neverfull bag is gorgeous and it works perfectly with both looks! I also like a large tote bag for days of running kids around and doing errands.
