Printed Skirts and Band Tees With Converse and Edie Bag

Getting some of my band tees out again, and pairing them with printed skirts and Converse back at the end of summer. The Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag in Luna blue was a great accessory with both outfits, it's a shade that goes with so many other blues!

What I wore:

NecklaceTiffany diamonds by the yard necklace
Top: Kisschasy blue tape band tee
Skirt: thrifted Ghanda midi slink skirt in green mini blossom
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus turquoise and silver bracelet stack
BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

Wore this for a relaxing weekend day. We had a couple of errands to run, a trip to the library, and then some time at the bike track with the kids. I was inspired by the model on the Ghanda site wearing the red version of this skirt with a band tee and Converse to wear this outfit with my Kisschasy band tee. I wasn't too sure it worked - still getting used to this skirt! I think if I had tucked in the tee like I did the first time I wore this skirt with a tee, I would have liked this outfit just a little more. This skirt is a fun challenge to have in my wardrobe, encouraging me to try new things!

With the blue tee, blue bag and blue Converse I added a little more blue with this turquoise and silver bracelet stack I got for Christmas. All shades go so nicely with the green of this skirt, I really like blue and green together!

Last worn: Kisschasy cassette tape tee, Tiffany diamond necklace, green daisy print midi skirt, blue Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag.

Other ways to wearKisschasy cassette tape tee and striped skirt, green daisy print midi skirt and white tee, blue Converse and navy printed dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and denim skirt.

Why I wore it:

Another colourful outfit! Nice and comfortable for what was supposed to be a quiet day working from home with an appointment in the afternoon. Ended up cancelling my appointment as bad weather was predicted. The weather ended up being really bad when it did arrive, although this day was still sunny. As I'd planned this outfit out before I cancelled my appointment I decided to still wear it anyway. Colourful for the school run, but then not really seen for the rest of the day as I worked from home, ha!

Despite the blues in this tie dye skirt being different from the blues in the first outfit, again I think this Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag really works. I didn't need such a big bag as I only left the house for the school run but it saved the hassle of changing to another smaller bag. Was good to give this yellow band tee another wear too, definitely should wear it more often, yellow is so cheerful!

Last worn: The Getaway Plan yellow band tee, tie dye maxi skirt, blue Converse (above), Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag (above).

Other ways to wearThe Getaway Plan yellow band tee and skirt, tie dye maxi skirt with pink, blue Converse and printed dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and navy dress.

How You Can Wear It:

Printed band tees pair equally well with printed skirts, and of course Converse will always be a staple shoe choice with a band tee!

  3. Both of these looks are fantastic! I love all of the different ways you wear t-shirts. You always manage to make them look so classy but fun! I am a t-shirt kind of girl...but I tend to look slouchy when I wear them! Love that purse as well. What a stunning piece <3
