Printed Jeans, White Tees And Cardigans

Another two outfits following similar outfit formulas. White tees, printed jeans and cardigans with Rebecca Minkoff bags. Just like in Monday's post though, again I loved one outfit more than the other despite it being the same basic pieces together.

What I wore:

mustard cardigan with sass bide black chevron print jeans white tee aquamarine mini MAC bag | awayfromtheblue

mustard cardigan with Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC in aquamarine with python embossed leather | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: thrifted SES Fashions mustard yellow cardigan
Necklace: Happiness Boutique turquoise and coral pendant necklace (c/o)
TeeCotton On The One Deep V tee in marle nep white body black
JeansSass & Bide Playman skinny jeans
ShoesNew Balance Coast women's running shoe in black
BagRebecca Minkoff mini MAC in aquamarine with python embossed leather

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit! Yellow with these chevron print jeans really pops, so cheerful and colourful. The aqua Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag and turquoise necklace are an awesome extra touch of colour too. While this white tee does have a spotty texture all over I thought it might still work with the print of the jeans as it was neutral and a fairly subtle design and I'm glad I gave this a go, really liked this combination.

Wore this to work from home and take a late lunch to go cheer my child on for sports at school. The cardigan was too warm most of the day working from home but I appreciated it in the windy afternoon as I sat on the sidelines of the field for half an hour.

Last worn: mustard cardigan, turquoise stone necklace, white tee, chevron print skinny jeans, New Balance sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff aqua mini MAC bag.

Other ways to wearmustard cardigan and shorts, white tee and maxi skirt, chevron print skinny jeans with pink and purple, Rebecca Minkoff aqua mini MAC bag and magenta florals.

Perfect for pregnancyRebecca Minkoff aqua mini MAC bag in third trimester.

Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC and MAB Tote Comparison:

What I wore:

pink leopard print jeans with navy cardigan, white tee and plum purple mini MAB tote bag | awayfromblue

navy cardigan, pink leopard print jeans, Rebecca Minkoff mini MAB tote in plum | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest waterfall drape cardigan in navy night sky marle
Necklace: thrifted blue statement beaded necklace
TeeAtmos & Here white essential v-neck tee
Jeans: Portmans pink leopard print skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
BagRebecca Minkoff mini MAB tote in plum

Why I wore it:

I liked this outfit and I felt good in it, but just didn't like it as much as the one above. I'd planned a different top to wear but went with another white tee as I realised that morning I hadn't yet ironed the one I wanted to wear. With two little boys, I can never keep up with laundry! And I was going to go for a purple cardigan as well but after a particularly cold start to the morning I needed something a bit thicker and warmer so went with this navy one. Still added a little purple to my outfit with this plum Rebecca Minkoff MAB tote though, purple is so good with the pink leopard print jeans. I've worn it with them before.

Comfortable for a busy day with with school run, sports for the little one while his brother was at school then sports for both boys in the evening after school pick up. I also carried the baby bag for everyone's water bottles and post sport snacks as the mini MAB tote really just fits the essentials.

Last worn: navy waterfall cardigan, blue statement necklace, plain white tee, pink leopard print jeans, blue Converse, Rebecca Minkoff plum mini MAB tote.

Other ways to wearnavy waterfall cardigan and pencil skirt, plain white tee over maxi dress, pink leopard print jeans with black, blue Converse and striped dress, Rebecca Minkoff plum mini MAB tote.

Perfect for pregnancypink leopard print jeans and hidden bump, Rebecca Minkoff plum mini MAB tote in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

White tees are a wardrobe classic and always look good with printed jeans. A cardigan can add a little extra warmth for a cold spring day and a lot of extra colour.

  1. I'm looking forward to adding cardigans to my outfits, it's still too hot here but cooler weather is coming. It's great when you try an outfit and end up really liking it! Sometimes I have something in my head but when I put it together it just doesn't work.
    Have a great day Mica!

  9. Fabulous casual outfits, Mica! The turquoise Mini MAC really pops off that yellow! I feel that the blue cardi is swamping your petite frame a bit, but totally get that need for snuggliness! Have a great week, my dear friend!

    1. Yes I really need to try wear it wrap style one day (it buttons up to covert to a wrap top) as that would be a bit better on my short self I think!

  10. Those gray and black patterned jeans I see you wear a lot and I LOVE them. Just a little edgy/different than a regular pair of black or gray jeans.

  11. Both of these outfits are pretty, Mica, and I especially love both cardigans. I can totally understand them being a little too warm at times. We are now in the fall season in Ohio, so we are starting to get cooler temps. So I will be wearing more of those soon.

Wishing you an amazing day, friend!

  15. I am all about cardigans now that we are in the autumn season. I'll wear a tee shirt under so if I get too hot, I can take it off, then put back on when I get chilly again. It's the most perfect item for the season!

    Have a great weekend!

  17. Hello Mica, I hope you're having a good day and happy weekend!

I would love to get a cardigan soon, they are my favorite pieces for the in-between seasons but I still don't find a perfect option, I would love to add one in a bright yellow tone like the one in the OOTD #1 I also liked the pop of color of the Rebecca Minkoff bag!

And I adored the printed joggers in the second outfit, looking comfy and chic !

    Enjoy the weekend!

  19. Two perfectly thought out casual outfits, Mica, but my favourite must be the first one. I love the complimentary pops of yellow and aqua, and also think its proportions are better.
Don't you hate it when an outfit doesn't feel as good in real life as it did when planning it in your head?
Have a lovely weekend, Mica xxx

  25. I like the yellow cardi in your first outfit so much. It looks great paired with a white t-shirt and printed jeans (I always liked those zig zag striped jeans of your). Moreover, the turquoise mini bag matches so well with the turquoise pedant on your necklace.

Your second styling with the longer cardi is very pretty too. I think this combination of a simple white t-shirt with printed jeans works really well. You look cute in both outfits.

    1. Yes you can't beat jeans and a tee and a white tee is a staple! :)

  26. This is exactly why a good white tee is so versatile. It completes the look yet it's not the focal point.

  27. `Your 'formula' outfit of tee, jeans, cardigan, Rebecca Minkoff bag, suits you perfectly. The pendant (first outfit)and the beads necklace (second outfit) are a great addition!
As for colors" white of the tee is a classic, goes along with everything. The other colors: mustard, blue, pink are tastefully 'navigated' by you, so that the whole appearance is lovely!
