Sunglasses: Rayban new Wayfarers
Necklace: silver Owl pendant long necklace from Paddy's Markets
Top: Jeanswest 'Kate' grey panel tank
Skirt: Target black and white striped maxi skirt
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC with python embossed leather in aquamarine
The summer heat has come back for another go it seems! Was really warm on Sunday. I decided yet again to wear another maxi skirt. This is one of the ones I bought at Target the other day. Definitely starting to develop a bit of a pregnancy uniform here....always liked maxi skirts pre-pregnancy so I guess it's not much of a surprise I'm wearing them so much now. They are the only non-maternity options for my bottom half that still fit due to the stretchy waists, haha! It's interesting, right now skirts seem to be wining, but I wonder if I'll end up back in (maternity) jeans more often when the weather starts to cool.
Last worn: Ray-ban Wayfarers, grey tank top, Havaianas, Rebecca Minkoff Aquamarine mini MAC. First time I've worn the skirt as it's a recent purchase.
Here's what I wore today:
Sunglasses: Rayban new Wayfarers
Necklace: gifted gold heart shaped necklace
Top: French Connection oversized khaki green tee
Skirt: Asos graphic print pencil skirt - on sale! (maternity version here)
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
Bracelets: the usual plus jade beads and Roie Designs labradorite bracelets
Bag: Alexander Wang Rocco with gold hardware in dark argon
Saint Patrick's day today so I used that as inspiration to find something to wear. Although I'm not sure if the khaki green top pairs quite well with the teal Rocco bag, they both fit so I was happy! :) I do prefer the fit of the tee without a baby bump though!
Will probably be packing the Rocco away for a while - much too heavy for me at the moment when I'm carrying baby too, got a bit of a sore back this evening.
Last worn: French Connection oversized tee, gold mouse flats, Asos maternity print pencil skirt, Alexander Wang Rocco.

hey Mica! In the top ensemble, it must be how you are standing by you don't look prego at all. You are so lucky. Love the green purse! Thanks for the well wishes. I have the news on my "pink update" on the morrow. Have a wonderful day and don't get to uncomfortable in the heat there, k?
ReplyDeleteThanks Renae! Good camera angles I think, haha! :)
DeleteI love both black & white skirts Mica! Maxi's are any girl's best friend! HaHaHa Who would've thought a handbag would be hazardous to your health. Definitely pack it away if it's causing you back problems. Love that Rebecca Minkoff.

Really love your cute golden flats. I have abnormally long toes so I can't really wear flats or pumps (yes I am an alien). I do admire others who can wear them from afar :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, I have been gone for too long. I can't believe you are going to be a mommy! That is awesome! Congratulations. This makes it so much more fun as we are going to share the experience because I am 24 weeks pregnant myself. Did I say I am so excited for you?
ReplyDeletexoxo, Teodora
That is so exciting Teodora! Congratulations! :D I'm a few weeks ahead of you!
DeleteYou must be so excited :)
You look great in stretchy soft skirts - plus I bet they're really comfy!

ReplyDeleteHave you tried pregnancy massage for your back? I've heard it can really help :)
ReplyDeleteGood on your for trying to dress for the holidays. I'm not very good at that (except maybe for Valentine's Day, not that I posted a Valentine outfit this year).
Made it easier to get dressed when I realised I should probably wear something green - as I don't own much green, haha! :)
DeleteI need to find a good place for pregnancy massage, definitely!
Your little aquamarine bag is so cute, but I can understand why you'd want to retire the larger purses for a while now!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty bag! I totally understand why you want to go smaller now.
ReplyDeleteYou look very good. Love the ensemble. :-)

Aw, too bad about the Rocco, because I love the teal color, but if it's for the better... . I don't think you'll have any problems finding a more lightweight handbag in your collection, haha ^^ Hope you had a lovely weekend! xo
