Jacket: Temt Black trench coat
Scarf: Alexander McQueen modal and cashmere skull scarf
Dress: French Connection Romany rib printed dress
Shoes: Wittner 'Mimi' heels in mushroom
Bracelets: the usual plus Marc by Marc Jacobs enamel turnlock stripy hinge black and white bangle
Bag: Chloe Marcie medium hobo bag in Nut
Although it's not in the picture as it only arrived in the afternoon, I ended up wearing my new custom bangle from Yondale Design, you can see it on Instagram. It's a beautiful piece! Went a little custom-crazy a while back, and ordered this cuff and a necklace. I'm looking forward to sharing the necklace with you too when it arrives.
Had another presentation practice at work on Monday - so heels again for a bit of a confidence boost. I got to do my presentation twice, once to a small group as we break off to do them, and once to the larger group. It was definitely a lot scarier with more people in the room, but I'm pleased I managed to do it. All of the feedback was really helpful. Now I just need to think of a topic to talk about for a few minutes next time, and practice some more!
Last worn: black trench, Alexander McQueen skull scarf, French Connection dress, Wittner heels, Chloe Marcie hobo bag.
Here's what I wore to work today:
Jacket: Asos Black by Markus Lupfer printed leather jacket
Scarf: Alexander McQueen skull scarf white/pink modal
Dress: French Connection spotty cotton dress
Shoes: Asos Aggie leather western ankle boots in black
Bracelets: the usual (now expanded again to include a custom silver cuff from Yondale Design)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff MAB mini in soft grey
Another black and white French Connection dress today! Decided to wear another skull scarf too, why break the pattern? hehe. Had a day full of meetings and a bit of running around the city between buildings, so the boots kept my feet dry and warm as I did so. Wish I had thought to bring an umbrella, but didn't get soaked until I left the office to go home, so that worked out well.
Linking up with Style Sessions, Trend Spin Linkup today.
If you're interested, I'm selling some handbags and accessories from my collection on ebay. :)
Last worn: Markus Lupfer jacket, pink skull scarf, polka dot dress, Asos ankle boots, RM mini MAB.
I love the dress in the second picture!
ReplyDeletePresentations are scary! I always hated doing them.

Mica, I love that brown Chloe bag. So pretty. I love camel & black. Black & white is always fabulous. Both outfits are pretty. Glad you did well with your presentations. I still get jittery when I have to speak in front of others, but it soon goes away. You have the prettiest bracelets. I think I saw the one you were talking about.

I got a great tip in my presentations that when you force yourself to stop and take a breath you get less nervous and it slows down your voice. I am going to build little pauses into all my presentations now! :)
DeleteBoth looks are great on you, I really like that Chloe bag.

I love how you styled both these printed dresses. Seems like you have a uniform going on...chic printed dress, scarf, killer jacket and heels. I can't wait until the weather over here allows for more layering.

hehe, yep, it's my lazy work uniform when I'm too busy to think of anything else! :P
DeleteOhh...my dream bag - the Chloe. I told myself if I don't buy any purses next year, I will reward myself with Chloe of Christmas. I agree presentations are not fun. I recently had a huge presentation and the dry runs were horrible. Luckily, it turned out perfect during the actual presentation.
