Jacket: Barkins beige trench coat
Scarf: Marc by Marc Jacobs Island pine-print scarf
Necklace: gifted freshwater pearl necklace

Shoes: Wittner 'Bloomy' black heels

Bag: Alexander Wang Rocco with gold hardware in dark argon
Three days in a row I've gone for a printed French Connection dress now, sorry! Had to think of something easy yet professional to wear, and rather than fussing with separates I went for the lazy printed dress option. We were filming an internal video at work and I had a part to play in it so wanted to look as professional as possible. I'm be curious to see what the final video looks like - got to see a bit after I'd done my clip and it looked okay. Will be good to see everyone's parts together.
Last worn: beige trench, Marc by Marc Jacobs island pine scarf, French Connection print dress, ankle-strap heels, Alexander Wang Rocco bag.
Here's what I wore to work today:
Necklace: gift from DH
Top: Gifted, Next brown polka dot and lace top
Skirt: Jeanswest black ponte pencil skirt
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs patent leather logo plaque flats
Bracelets: the usual plus Indigo Rose Design waxed leather cream howlite beaded wrap bracelet
Bag: Marc By Marc Jacobs Classic Q Fran bag with gold hardware in carob brown
I was wearing a trench over this but it was impossible to take a photo showing the fake "layering" with the top so I braved a photo without the outerwear this morning. Have been eyeing up this top in my wardrobe for a while wanting to wear it, today was finally the day. It was a little awkward tucked in though, the skirt didn't hide the buttons well, haha. Must wear a stiffer skirt next time!
Linking up with Fashion Informant, Three-fer Thursday, Fashion & Faith, Friday's Fancies and Friday's Fab Favourites today.
Last worn: layered top, pencil skirt, MbMJ black flats, Marc Jacobs Fran bag.

these are two of my favorite outfits yet. I love how you did the peter pan collar for work. I have a similar blouse (it was a gift) and I've never worn it because I can't figure out how to make it appropriate for anywhere, lol!
ReplyDeleteMight be good for your work under a blazer? :) It is a nice piece, I should try it more casually with jeans! :)
DeleteYou look so pretty and polished in the second outfit! Both are great! :)
