What I wore:
Sunnies: Ray-Ban new Wayfarers
Scarf: Marc by Marc Jacobs Stargazer scarf in aquamarineTop: Jeanswest 'Melanie' Stripe henley in black/coconut
Jeans: Jeanswest 'spoylt' flared jeans
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch C/O JORD
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff metallic silver mini MAC (on sale in black!)
Why I wore it:
An easy playgroup outfit: stripes, flares and Converse. As we would be outside in the playground, I added the scarf to keep me cosy, and it doubles as a breastfeeding coverup too.I like the extra colour the galaxy print scarf adds, and it's a nice bit of print mixing with the stripes.
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarer, galaxy print scarf, striped henley, flared jeans, Converse, Rebecca Minkoff metallic mini MAC.
Other ways to wear: galaxy print scarf and a polka dot dress, stripe henley and gold jeans, flared jeans and ballet flats, Converse and a maxi skirt, Rebecca Minkoff metallic mini MAC with a black outfit.

What I wore:
Sunnies: Ray-Ban new Wayfarers
Scarf: Alexander McQueen Azure wool skull scarfTop: Jeanswest 'Aubrey' pintuck yoke henley in deep teal
Jeans: Sass & Bide Playman skinny jeans
Shoes: Walnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats (also available in silver)
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch C/O JORD
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff metallic silver mini MAC (on sale in pink!)
Why I wore it:
Wore this colourful teal henley for the first day of spring. I started playing along with a couple of instagram style challenges again, and this was a good colourful jacket-less outfit for the 'spring has sprung' #TRMstyle prompt.I've always found this teal top a little hard to wear, but since adding more green to my pregnancy wardrobe and having a green tank in my third trimester capsule wardrobe, I'm finding it really easy to wear and I can't believe I ever thought of getting rid of it! I don't think I will ever get bored of wearing this top and scarf together, I've done it a few times now. With the teal top and blue and teal scarf, the silver mini MAC was a great neutral bag so I wore it again.
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers (above), wool skull scarf, teal henley, printed skinny jeans, black ballet flats, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC (above).
Other ways to wear: wool skull scarf and stripes, teal henley and a wrap skirt, printed skinny jeans and purple, black ballet flats and a maxi skirt, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC worn as a clutch.

DeleteLove your fun leggings! They make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThanks! They are jeans :)
DeleteHenleys make for a great transitional piece. I also love it when the weather permits wearing them without a jacket. You have the cutest collection of scarves Mica!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I do like my scarves! And yes, long sleeve henleys are great for the transitional months :)
DeleteYou really look lovely in the color teal! I love that Cooper is modeling his little red jacket too! (:
ReplyDeleteThank you!I can't believe I ever thought of letting this go! And yes, Coops is so cute in his jacket - he was so cold after having his fur cut back so we dress him until he adjusts!
DeleteThese are both such fun, playful looks! I love that you manage to look put-together but still comfortable. So important for mom style I think! :)
ReplyDeleteExactly! Essential for mum style! :)
DeleteSuch a versatile bag it works for day and night! Love it!

It's funny as I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to cooler weather! :)
DeleteI am not familiar with the brand Henleys but will check them out for sure. Your winter must be really mild, what's the lowest temperature you guys have in winter?
ReplyDeleteShireen | Reflection of Sanity
Yeah we don't even get snow here in Brisbane! And it's usually pretty warm during the day :) Henley is a style, not a brand name, so you should be able to find them easy :)
DeleteOmg the dog is so cute! Love the red outfit haha! I swear, you have the prettiest collection of handbags, I wish I had so many as you! :)

I love the teal top! I too have struggled with certain colors and if I just embrace a color and figure out how to wear it with one outfit I usually am able to love it! It just takes some learning!
