37 Weeks: Belted Jersey Dress and Leggings | Scarf, Stripes and Maxi Skirt

Here's what I wore on Saturday:
jeanswest belted pixel print jersey dress with leggings third trimester 37 weeks pregnant

marc by marc jacobs ukita gold bracelet stack bangles
Necklace: vintage gold initial necklace
Dress: Jeanswest pixel print dress
Belt: Kmart thin black glitter belt
Leggings: Cotton On
Shoes: Cotton On thin strap thongs in black
Bracelets: the usual plus gold bangle set
BagMarc by Marc Jacobs Little Ukita bag in Rock Lobster

Last time I wore this dress it was hiding the tiny baby bump! My third trimester belly really shortens the dress and made leggings an essential to wear underneath while we were out shopping on Saturday. And they helped to keep me warm too. They are just regular non-maternity leggings, I'm wearing them under the bump and thanks to the elastic waist they are staying put. Went with thongs (flip flops) on my feet due to swelling. Will probably continue to wear these despite the cooler Autumn weather, as they are comfortable and they fit. Got to be comfy as I count down to baby's arrival!

Found this cute little gold initial necklace when I was sorting through all of my things to make space for baby's nursery. Thought it worked well with the neckline of the dress, and with a lot of bracelets on my arm a delicate necklace seemed like a good balance. Can't even guess at the last time I wore it, I've had it since I was little, but it was a nice find. De-cluttering unearthed all kinds of gems!

Last worn: Jeanswest print dress, glitter belt, black leggings, Cotton On thongs, MbMJ Ukita bag.

Here's what I wore today:

Grocery shopping, doing a little more to set up the nursery and working at Church Online today. A nice relaxing Sunday. Although I'm on maternity leave from my office job, I'm continuing to volunteer at Church Online as usual as it's just an hour a week.

Added the scarf to keep me warm this morning as it was a little cold and windy. Thought that the little bits of red in the print paired nicely with the colour of my bag.

Last worn: Marc by Marc Jacobs printed scarf, Jeanswest stripe tankblack jersey maxi skirt, Havaianas, Marc By Marc Jacobs Ukita (see above).

Linking up with Monday Must-Haves, Mix-It Mondays, Real Mom Style today.

  2. Your bump is the sweetest thing, Mica. My eyebrows turned a bit funny when you said you were really enjoying wearing thongs as they definitely do not mean flip-flops in the UK hahaha. I can't imagine you dancing around like a crazy person (your comment on my boogie post) with that bump on you! Baby must be dancing with joy inside too. :) Rosemary x

    1. Haha baby does all the crazy dancing and kicking and punching nowadays, or I'd throw my back out :P
I started to put flip flops in brackets after another blogger had a giggle with me and I realised some things need additional help to be translated! :) No-one calls them flip-flops here!
