Scarf: Alexander McQueen red skull-print modal and cashmere-blend scarf
Necklace: custom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
Top: Marc by Marc Jacobs blossom pocket tee in grey
Shorts: Jeanswest maternity rolled up shorts
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual plus Hermes Kelly double tour bracelet in rubis
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff coated canvas mini MAC in berry stripe
Funny weather on Sunday - I had my scarf off and on all day as the rain came in now and then to cool things down. Picked a simple shorts and tee outfit as we had a dog trainer helping us with Cooper, to make sure that he is prepared when baby arrives. I wasn't sure how active we would be, so shorts seemed like a good choice. It's going to be a bit of a shock for Cooper when we arrive home with baby, so we want to make the transition go smoothly for him so he doesn't feel left out.
Last worn: red skull scarf, Marc By Marc Jacobs tee, maternity denim shorts, Havaianas, Rebecca Minkoff canvas mini MAC.
Here's what I wore to work today:
Sunglasses: Rayban new Wayfarers
Necklace: House of Harlow Dynamic necklace in gold
Top: Atmos&Here rolled sleeve oversized tee in wine
Skirt: Asos graphic print pencil skirt - on sale! (maternity version here)
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
Bracelets: the usual plus two metal and fabric Roie Designs bracelets
Bag: Marc By Marc Jacobs Classic Q Fran bag with gold hardware in carob brown
Oversized tee and pencil skirt combination again today! As I get further into the third trimester and baby grows larger, I'm more and more amazed by the ladies at work who managed to stay stylish and professional through their pregnancies. They made it all look very easy! I certainly felt under-dressed when I checked my calendar at work the morning and realised I had a huge meeting in the afternoon.
In my current project at work there are 3 pregnant ladies, and one of the guys is expecting his second child with his partner. While it's funny that this project seems to be the "baby" project, it's great that we can all share tips and advice with each other as first time mums. It is definitely baby year in the office, there are 3 other babies due in the wider team as well!
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers, oversized tee, Asos maternity pencil skirt, metallic mouse flats, Marc by Marc Jacobs Fran bag.
Linking up with Monday Must-Haves, Mix It Mondays, Manic Mondays, Style Sessions, Trend Spin Linkup, Real Mom Style, Colour Brigade today.
cute outfit and congrats on your baby!! Take care sweetie!

Thank you :)
DeleteThat is so nice that you have coworkers going through the same thing. I'm sure that makes life a little easier when they all understand what you're going through! :)
ReplyDeleteYou always have amazing bags Mika, and please stay healthy :)

Well, it seems like you're an great company Mica! That's awesome when others can relate. Always helpful. Great outfits! That's awesome how you guys are preparing Cooper. Only "children" can be something else. HaHaHa

haha yes he doesn't like to share and he's used to being an only child...want to make sure we are preparing him in the best way possible, his little world will be shaken! haha! Can't wait for him to be a big brother :)
Deletei lived in oversized tees towards the end of my pregnancy! and how great that you have other pregnant co-workers to share your experience with too -- it makes all the difference to have other people who can relate!
ReplyDeletecute & little
you are such a good dog mom for helping cooper transition before baby comes along!! so many people overlook this. hoping that he and your little one will become best friends!

It's going to be such a big change for him, we wanted to be sure we are equipped to manage it well for him! :) Definitely want him to have a new best friend! :)
DeleteAs usual, I love both of your bags- great choices! And I agree with Lauren- how lucky that you have co-workers who can relate!

I like your oversized tops. I could do with some like this but I'm currently pinching my husband's t-shirts! x
ReplyDeleteHehe, hubby offered me some of his shirts the other day as I stood in front of the wardrobe wondering what to wear!
DeleteHope cooper will get used to having a baby around :) I'm guessing you are having a boy lol
ReplyDeletePs the new McQueen scarf looks great as the one you revealed on YouTube!
I can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear that one I just bought! It was too much of a bargain to pass up at the time despite the heat, haha!
DeleteHopefully with the training we are doing Cooper will find the change easy and love his little brother or sister from the very begining :)
Your bags are always the prettiest ones, seriously! Love the outfits :)
ReplyDeleteYou are very responsible getting advice re Cooper's transition. We haven't any children, but over the years (15!!) my dog has been dreadful around children. Of course, I was very strict about how I measured and controlled his behaviour, but I could never really change him. I always cringe when I hear people say, '...he'll be fine with the dog etc...' It's a serious topic, good on you for highlighting. Btw, looking great! Xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Flora! We've never really had Cooper around children for a long amount of time, but we do know he can only tolerate them in small doses so we wanted to get some tips and advise and start his relationship off right when baby arrives :) And no matter how much in love they become, I'll always keep an eye on them!
DeleteI love that ASOS graphic skirt.

Well you still look very much put together despite how you may have felt underdressed!
ReplyDeleteAhh, your Fran! I caved and about the MbMJ Classic Q Mariska in the same color as your Fran. It's just such a beautiful color!! I love the way it pairs with your print skirt!

You look great, I agree third trimester is rough on fashion you just want to give up and be comfy, but you look comfortable and stylish.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm trying to wear as much of my wardrobe as possible to avoid hating everything I wore in pregnancy by the time baby arrives, haha!
DeleteYou have such an amazing bag collection - super jealous! :D

Loving that striped mini MAC!! So cute! I don't know how my dog would do if I brought home a baby! He's so used to being the only baby he probably wouldn't like it at all. Good luck with Cooper! :)

oh that's so thoughtful of you mica, though i'm sure there will be enough love and attention to go around and cooper will love the new addition to the family :) i find that happens a lot with my friends as well, everyone seems to be having a baby this year! it's nice to have a group of people who can support each other!
ReplyDeletesteph / absolutely-fuzzy.com
Yes babies always seem to come along in multiples I think! haha! :) It's good having the support there :)
DeleteAnd we will try to make the change as easy as possible on Cooper so he still feels loved - although no longer being the baby of the family will be a shock for him haha.
CUUUTTTEEE shorts!! And yes, how odd has the weather been?! Four seasons in one day!?
