On Thursday, we had a work Christmas party in the afternoon. I thought this lace dress would be nice to wear for the office and drinks afterwards. Decided on flats rather than heels as it was a cocktail party, so lots of standing around and chatting. Although it was tricky to see everyone in the crowd without heels, haha. Was good getting to spend time outside the office with the team, and to catchup with people I used to work with, finding out what everyone is up to and where in the organisation they've moved to.
The pink shades of the belt and bag don't match at all, but I thought they complimented each other nicely. What do you think?

Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs patent mouse flats
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted Balenciaga classic double tour bracelet in pearly grey
Bag: Balenciaga Coquelicot Velo
Another denim free casual Friday! It was mid 30's today (Celsius) so much too hot to consider jeans. I liked the colour the red bag added to the black and grey outfit :)

I really feel the pink belt added a perfect touch for your black dress on Thursday. Glad you went with the flats, they're cute and I'm sure you were in better spirits being comfy. I don't think it matters that the belt didn't match your bag, it's never occured to me that a bag and belt should match. Complementing is good. I'm not a huge bag person but I really do love the red Balenciaga one you took to work today. Thanks for your tips re. My birthday top, I think I will try a coloured tank underneath.
