DFO Brisbane: Shopping for Father's Day

Father's Day is getting closer (next Sunday!)  so today I headed out to Brisbane DFO in the hunt for the perfect Father's Day gift for my Dad and Father-in-law. I usually find guys are so tricky to buy for.

Thankfully, Brisbane DFO has a lot of choices available for men's fashion, and some special offers just for Father's Day. We had a nice day browsing some of the stores and looking for great gifts for guys. And of course we couldn't resist buying a few things for ourselves! At up to 70% off, it's hard not to buy!

Here's what I wore:

Necklacecustom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
TopSpectrum basic v-neck tee in washed lilac
JeansSass & Bide Jekyll and Hyde zippora jeans
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs studded mouse flats in grey
Bracelets: the usual plus Indigo Rose Design black leather Swarovski beaded wrap bracelet
BagBalenciaga RH city in 2008 sapphire

Last wornlilac teezippora jeans, studded mouse flats, Balenciaga city bag.

Yep, that's a few shopping bags.....click through to see more pictures.

Browsing in Country Road:

Big shout-out to the super helpful sales assistants in Country Road! They were really helpful when I explained we needed a bit of help shopping for menswear and pointed out lots of great options to us. The store was setup really well to make shopping for Father's Day easier.

Checking out the shirts in Industrie:

In the end we came home with some great bargains:

  • Industrie Leonard short sleeve shirt reduced from $49.95 to $20
  • Industrie Mulvane short sleeve shirt reduced from $49.95 to $20
  • Industrie basic crew neck tee in white reduced from $19.95 to $10
  • Country Road Pique polo shirt reduced from $59.95 to $19.95
  • Country Road Oxford shirt reduced from $99 to $29.95

So what do you think, did we have a successful shopping trip? We certainly saved a lot, and put some of the savings towards a few things for ourselves ;) What do you normally buy for Father's Day?

  1. Aaaahk, I love shopping time!! (who doesn't?) And I love how you wear a nice and comfortable outfits for shopping. You know, I wonder how people can wear some "difficult" outfit for shopping. Seriously, Especially when the entire mall says end of season sale. I usually spend all day at the mall to explore every stores. That's why I need a comfy outfits for that time. So I can explore all of them one by one to find some great items with affordable price :)

  26. You definitely had a successful trip! I love the shirts you brought home and the lucky daddies will love them undoubtedly as well :) I love outlet shopping, but there's little outlet store around where I live. It's a two-hour drive to the nearest center, so we only visit about one time a year :) xo

    1. Thanks Nikki! I hope they like the gifts too! :)

I'm lucky (and my credit card unlucky!) to live near the outlets, I think only visiting once a year is a wise choice for somewhere it takes so long to get to. otherwise you don't have much shopping time, hehe!
