Brown Top, Pastel Skinny Jeans, Purple MAC | Blue and Black: Lace Pencil Skirt, Leather jacket

Here's what I wore on Tuesday:

away from blue brown top shoes pastel skinny jeans purple bag OOTD

away from the blue blog rebecca minkoff purple MAC bag

Necklacecustom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
Top: Kookai brown oversized top
Jeans: Cotton On apricot skinnies
Shoes: New Look brown cut-out detail shoe
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff MAC bag in deep purple

Nice casual outfit for Tuesday to work from home. I started early and worked late so that I could have an hour long lunch with my mum and sister. Was nice to get out of the house for a while, and Cooper enjoyed seeing them as much as I did :) Although it was a little windy as you can see in the picture, it was still warm enough in the sun to go without a jacket. Thanks to my sister for taking these pics and snapping a great one of Cooper, looks like he is laughing!

Linking up with Mix Match FashionThree-fer Thursday and Fashion Informant today.

Last worn: brown top, apricot skinny jeans, New Look flats, Rebecca Minkoff deep purple MAC.

Here's what I wore to work today:

away from blue work outfit navy bag black knit jumper asos lace pencil skirt

away from the blue marco tagliaferri navy medium birk bag on arm

JacketAsos Black by Markus Lupfer printed leather jacket
Top: Liz Claiborne thrifted black jumper from AWLQ jumble sale
SkirtAsos blue textured lace pencil skirt
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs patent leather logo plaque flats
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Marco Tagliaferri first generation Birk bag in navy

After the warm weather we have been having, being back to single digits was a bit of a shock. Even found myself wishing I'd worn a scarf too this morning. I thought the leather jacket over the chunky knit felt a little bulky, but it was too cold to consider going jacket-less today. Just want to be warm and comfortable :)
Have been wary in the past about wearing this pencil skirt with black, and tried to avoid it as much as possible. But when it went so well with my opaque tights last time I wore it, I was happy to pair the colours together again. It looks better than I thought it would. What do you think?

Last worn: printed leather jacket, black knit, Asos lace pencil skirt, patent flats, Marco Tagliaferri Birk bag.

  3. I love that Asos skirt as well! It looks really girly and indeed paired well with the opaque right! Leather jacket is almost always my winter staple and I reckon owning one that's as versatile as the one you have is a great investment :)

  14. That skirt is fantastic! I am curious, with all the purse changes you do...do you ever forgot things in other purse? I am horrible at switching out my purse because it never fails that I always leave something in one of the other purses.

    1. hehe, I usually put little "pouches" inside my bag that have everything in them, so I just swap the pouches around when I change bags. That way I don't miss anything!
