The weather was a little cooler today, so I decided to wear jeans. Gave me a chance to wear this pair I picked up in the Jeanswest 40% off sale. Had lunch with my friend in the city this afternoon.

We stopped to take pictures at Brisbane's solar powered Christmas tree, which was not the best spot as it was directly in the sun. Will try to remember to pick a shady spot next time. My friend spent the time taking pictures giggling as unknown to me she was on a mission to make it look like a spikey star was coming out of my head.... ;) As she made me promise when she told me though, I blogged it!

A few people stopped me to say they loved my "a shelter dog changed my life..." tee, which made me smile. Shelter dogs are amazing, and I take every chance I can to remind people to adopt.
