Spotty Dress, Balenciaga Velo, Suede Flats, Featured

Wearing a new dress today. I made a couple of purchases at  French Connection last week to get some workwear - they have an extra 20% off sale items at the moment, and free shipping so I couldn't resist! This dress is the same style as this one, just a different print.

Here's what I wore:
Dress: French Connection Spotty Cotton Dress (New Purchase)
Necklace: freshwater pearls, gifted
Bracelets: the usual plus faux pearl one, gifted and two Indigo Rose Design freshwater pearl bracelets.
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs Logo Plaque Suede Flats in red from Shopbop
Bag: Balenciaga Coquelicot 2011 RH Velo from Reebonz (video how-to for shortening the velo strap here)

Closeup of accessories:

I was featured over at the Fashionoclast for the Frivolous Friday Bling Challenge, you can check it out here. It's great seeing what some of the other participants wore!

Don't forget to enter the Indigo Rose Design jewelry giveaway if you haven't already :)

  7. I'm sorry I have no particularly insightful comment to offer, other than to agree with the chorus that your red accents really make your outfit pop. I quite like ensembles that begin with a black and white foundation and spice it up with strategic splashes of colours. It's a good way to control where people's eyes go as well as good way to add energy, figuratively speaking, to an outfit without going over the top. So, yes, another pretty outfit.

Out of curiosity, what's the weather like in your corner of the world? Is it cooling down?

    1. Thank you Frederik! All of your comments are appreciated :) I love adding color with accessories, my wardrobe is fairly boring and accessories are where I have more fun and colour.
It's autumn here, has started to cool down.:)
